Isla Fisher visits the BBC Radio 2 studios in London. Isla, currently promoting her first children’s book, “Marge in Charge,” opened up about her husband Sacha Baron Cohen. “Ive always had a sick sense of humor, so I dont really bat an eye. I kind of like it… its hilarious.” Isla can still be seen in theaters in the sequel to “Now You See Me”. The film has grossed $285.9 million worldwide.

Well, this was all but expected from Sacha Baron Cohen, but following those extremely over-the-top “Borat,” this seems like a complete disappointment. With that said, Sacha & his wife Isla Fisher were on hand at the world premiere of his latest film “The Brothers Grimsby” at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square. Not sure how many of you plan to see it, but if you’re looking for quick laughs and don’t mind being completely grossed out, make sure you check this out when it hits theaters on March 11.
The film also stars Mark Strong (as Sacha’s younger MI6 brother), Rebel Wilson, Isla Fisher, Annabelle Wallis, Gabourey Sidibe, Penélope Cruz, and Ian McShane. For a quick sample, check the trailer below:
If you haven’t hit up South France within the past few months for a week or two of flexing your fame & fortune muscles, then you should reconsider your celebrity status. Ok, maybe that’s a little too harsh, but I feel like there’s some truth in that statement.
Now let’s get back to talking about real celebs currently enjoying luxurious vacations in & around the Mediterranean. A group of A-List celebs that included the likes of Bono, Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher and former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher were spotted hitting up a lunch at Club 55 in Saint-Tropez. Not sure if they were all together or whether they just happened to take the same raft to the famous celeb hot-spot, but it’s not something you see every day—even in St. Tropez.

Actresses Isla Fisher & Kirsten Dunst were seen leaving a West Hollywood gym together yesterday afternoon. To help manage the papz situation, both ladies drove to the gym in Kirsten’s Audi Q5 and Isla was later dropped off at her Mini Cooper following the workout.
From a projects standpoint, Isla had two big films hit theaters earlier this year with first ‘The Great Gatsby’ followed by ‘Now You See Me’—both earning a boat load of cash at the box-office. Her next film ‘Life of Crime‘ will premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (it will serve as the festival closer). Directed by Daniel Schechter, the film’s cast also includes Jennifer Aniston, Tim Robbins, John Hawkes & Mos Def.
As for Kirsten Dunst, her big film in the second half of 2013 will be the upcoming drama ‘The Two Faces of January‘ by writer & director Hossein Amini. The cast also includes Viggo Mortensen & Oscar Isaac. Judging by its December 18 release date, we’re assuming it’ll be in the running for an Oscar when the 2014 award season rolls around. You can read the plot here.

As we mentioned earlier in the afternoon, the famous red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival was rolled out ahead of tonight’s big opening ceremony. Walking on the red carpet were A-list members of the jury which included names like Steven Spielberg, Ang Lee, & Christoph Waltz. Before the opening ceremony festivities went down, all jury members & guests were treated to a screening of ‘The Great Gatsby’, which already had a very successful opening last weekend at the box-office.
Below are a selection of our favorite fashionable ladies on the red carpet. It’s nice to see singer Lana Del Rey, who’s behind the film’s hit single ‘Young & Beautiful’, made a rare red carpet appearance. For those of you who haven’t done so already, make sure you check out the film’s soundtrack, which features tunes by Jay-Z, will.i.am, Kanye & others. It’s definitely one of the better soundtracks in a while.

Interview w/ Carey Mulligan:
Isla Fisher was seen in Miami filming scenes on the set of the Untitled Elmore Leonard Project with Mos Def. Since we don’t have details on this project we thought to mention that Isla has a couple of films coming out in May. She has roles in both The Great Gatsby (opening May 10th) and Now You See Me (opening May 31st). As you know, The Great Gatsby is the film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel starring King Sugar Daddy Leo DiCaprio as Gatsby. The film also stars Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, and Joel Edgerton. Visit The Great Gatsby for more information.
