Celebrities walked the red carpet in the best gowns at the 4th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala New York at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The event included cockatils, fashion show, and a live auction with a special performance by Carly Rae Jepsen. DJ’ed by The Dolls: Mia Moretti & Caitlin Moe, Liza Minnelli and Alexa Chung were the special guests with Valentino, Jennifer Lopez, and Alan Cumming as the honorees. Izabel Goulart completely killed it and definitely won Best Dressed at The Immigrant premiere at the 66th Cannes Film Festival. The term “wardrobe malfunction” seems to be going hand-in-hand at Cannes given all these flowy gowns that the beautiful ladies are deciding to display on the red carpet. We’ve already had Eva Longoria and Rosario Dawson give the creepy bastards something to look and scrutinize meticulously and Izabel continues the trend. Izabel is definitely one of our favorite underrated Brazilian supermodels. In fact, why would Victoria’s Secret take away her Angel Wings?! With Miranda no longer in the fold, perhaps a return to VS Angel status for Izabel? Whatever the case, she gave us something to talk about that we haven’t even gotten into the film, The Immigrant and we’re sure you just want to get moving to the Gallery.

As we’ve always said, Izabel Goulart’s true potential as a world-class model remains untapped. I really thought she would’ve been pumped up to Gisele Bundchen levels, but obviously that hasn’t happened (yet)! Don’t know if we should place the blame on her agents, her friends for failing to give the encouragement or Izabel for failing to dream big? To be honest, it was probably a combo of all three & a number of other factors.

As for her latest shoot in the Brazilian GQ (May issue), Izabel seriously kills it in each page of the layout. Major props to the photographer & GQ editors.

As part of the amfAR Sao Paulo campaign, Calvin Klein produced a limited edition t-shirt in conjunction with the third annual Inspiration Gala that took place last week. Unfortunately the t-shirt is all sold out but what would you expect when you have four hot Brazilian supermodels modelling for the campaign. All that was missing was Alessandra Ambrosio wearing one of these and that’d be total hotness overload. Let’s just say the ratio was pretty good, so if he didn’t get any last night then we should all just assume that he’s gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that). There’s also the slight chance that he’s extremely classy and doesn’t fuck on the first date, but that’s highly doubtful when you have women like Izabel Goulart, Erin Heatherton & Thairine Garcia presented to you a hottie platter.

It appears Paul chose Izabel Goulart as his temporary sex partner, but it’s possible he was trying to make the other girls catty in hopes get himself thrown into a drunken three/foursome where the girls take turns trying to prove to Paul that they’re the best. Obviously, the winner in all these scenarios is of course Paul Walker, so more power to him. That bastard.

Oh yeah, we should mention that he’s in Sao Paulo for the city’s seasonal Fashion Week. The ‘Fast & Furious’ series star actually walked the runway for Brazilian designer Colcci, along w/ Victoria’s Secret models Erin Heatherton & Izabel Goulart. In our eyes, Izabel Goulart just doesn’t get enough love from Victoria’s Secret. She’s was a mainstay for years having been an Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2005-08 but last year was odd that 1) she did the SI Swimsuit Issue and 2) she got minimal love at the VS Fashion Show.
