ELLE’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night. Yeah, as you can see, a lot of ladies attended the event and this isn’t even everyone; we figured to cap our over-coverage at 20 attendees. Pretty much the only dude in attendance was Robert Pattinson who was there to give an award to Uma Thurman. To be clear, we have no idea what type of awards were handed out or who was awarded but we can link you to Elle’s Women in Hollywood website and lead you down to the poll and Gallery; we’re sure you can’t wait to get clicking on all the photos.

Kingdom Come is the upcoming documentary about Rachael’s husband, Daniel Gillies’ process in making his first independent film Broken Kingdom. The documentary was produced (i.e. bankrolled by the more successful spouse) by Rachael and also appearing in the film as Selma Blair, Edward Burns, and Don Cheadle. As for Broken Kingdom, the film stars Daniel Gillies, Rachael Leigh Cook (also Executive Producer, i.e. she bankrolled the project), and Seymour Cassel. For more info, visit the Broken Kingdom official website.

Here’s more info on Broken Kingdom:

Two stories weave their way from the harrowing slums of Bogotá to the hills of Hollywood. A 14-year-old street girl and an American writer discover an uncommon union, while a day-care teacher in Los Angeles does everything she can to fight the weight of a tragic secret. [Source]

In addition to the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party, Variety and Women in Film had their Pre-Emmy Event Presented By Saint Vintage held at Montage in Beverly Hills. So there really isn’t much else different we can write since all these events are related to the Emmys so we’ll just do our same plug stating… that the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air tonight with coverage starting at 7pm ET on ABC with live red carpet coverage. For more info and a list of all the nominees, visit Emmy.tv. And now, onto the poll.

So the People StyleWatch Denim Party took place last night at Palihouse in Santa Monica. It was really just an excuse to have a party to get people into the weekend but we really don’t know the exact reasoning for such an event. Anyways, it was attended by a bunch of ladies and so therefore we’ve got a post and poll for you vote. I guess we should give a plug to People StyleWatch, the hsots of the event.

Jennie Garth @ 4th Annual GLSEN Respect Awards

Jennie Garth: 90210 Ladies’ Weight Is “Their Business”

On the controversy over the leading ladies’ shrinking bodies, Garth demurred. “I don’t know them personally that well, and I think that that’s their private business,” she told press at GLSEN’s Respect Awards on Friday. “If I were the director or the producer or the showrunners,” she added, “maybe I would deal with it differently.” Source
