Emma Watson Hits ‘Noah’ World Premiere in Berlin

German Premiere of 'Noah'

We thought this premiere was going down yesterday, but I guess Emma rolled into Berlin a little early to prepare. We’ll give her a pass on the outfit (designed by Wes Gordon) for two primary reasons: This is the first premiere of presumably many set to go down before the film’s big release on March 28, especially considering this is one of the season’s first big blockbusters (not to mention it has a production budget estimated at around $130 million) and secondly, this is a Biblical story, so it just wouldn’t fit if Emma took somewhat risque liberties with her dress, although we do expect her to bust out slightly edgier dresses as the promo tour rolls on.

As most of you know by now ‘Noah‘ is a film by writer, director & producer Darren Aronofsky (he wore all those hats & more during production). Let’s not forget that he was behind films like ‘Requiem for a Dream’, ‘The Wrestler’ & ‘Black Swan’, so look for this one to make a big splash with critics, as well. The film also stars Russell Crowe (as Noah), Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, and Ray Winstone. Emma scored the role of Ila, Noah’s adopted daughter. Check the film’s trailer below…

The premiere was helda t the Zoo Palast theater in Berlin.

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is the third installment to the Madagascar franchise starring (to name a few) the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Frances McDormand, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jessica Chastain, and Paz Vega. In case you’re wondering, this likely won’t be the last installment. It’s already been mentioned that producers would like to do a fourth installment in the future. The film hits theaters on June 8th. For more info, visit the Madagascar official website.

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippopotamus set out to return to New York after escaping to Africa. Dependent on the mechanical know-how of the notorious chimpanzees and penguins, their plan inevitably goes awry and they find themselves stranded in Monte Carlo, where they try to escape Europe from animal control led by Captain Chantel DuBois by joining up with a traveling circus by chance. Led by the venerable Siberian tiger Vitaly, the animal-centered circus has seen better days. During the course of a tour through a series of European cities that ends in a fabulous big top in the heart of London, Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria help Vitaly the tiger, Gia the jaguar, and Stefano the sea lion, rediscover their passion for show business and reinvent circus performance. Jennifer Connelly Slightly Cold @ “Creation” Screening in Toronto

More about about “Creation”:

Creation is an upcoming biographical film about the life of Charles Darwin. It is directed by Jon Amiel and stars married couple Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly as Charles and Emma Darwin. John Collee wrote the script based on Randal Keynes’s biography of Darwin titled Annie’s Box. The film had its world premiere on September 10, 2009 at the Toronto International Film Festival, and it was selected as the opening night Gala Presentation for later that evening, the first non-Canadian film since 1996 to be so honoured. Jennifer Connelly @ “The Day The Earth Stood Still” Premiere

Yeah, I know that we’ve pressed on the fun of saying that Keanu Reeves needs a friend, fast, but really, if he’s still hitting it with China Chow, then I’m sure he’s doing just fine and we’re just haters.

As for Jennifer Connelly, just remember that she was 18 years old when she did The Hot Spot and showed us her lovely boobies. She can live with that as a claim to fame for us.
