As we noted in an earlier post, Selena Gomez was also in attendance at the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Carnegie Hall.
I like Karlie Kloss, but at the same time, there has to countless other hotter models that could’ve attended this event. I just feel like Karlie’s Taylor connection (as sad as that may sound) is getting her a lot of love from the industry. Needless to say Adriana, Candice and others need to attend more events, damn it!
Anyway, pictured below are a few of the other ladies who were in attendance…

Normally, Jennifer Hudson is flawless from a style standpoint. We consistently see her wearing extremely tight outfits that showcase her amazing booty & slimming figure (thanks to Weight Watchers, of course!) and she looked just fine last night at the 2013 Golden Heart Awards except for that God-awful & extremely random rectangle in the middle of the dress. I get the whole geometric thing, but why ruin an outfit that had so much potential?
What the hell was the designer going for anyway? I don’t get it. The dress would’ve looked absolutely beautiful if the designer called it good after the the low-cut, sheered v-neck & dangerously long slit to show off Jennifer’s legs, but I guess everyone aspires to be unique and sometimes they simply go a little too far.
On the topic of going too far, did you guys catch what happened to Jennifer Hudson on ‘Chelsea Lately’ last week when she walked on the show wearing what appeared to be an EXTREMELY tight leather skirt with a zipper on the front? Well, when she tried to sit down, the zipper on the front pretty much unzipped all the way (possibly because the skirt wasn’t made for sitting down) & if it wasn’t for Chelsea coming to the rescue, it nearly exposed Jennifer’s entire her lower half to the studio audience. Watch the video below:
Jennifer was on the show promoting her new film, the George Tillman-produced & directed drama ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete‘, which stars Anthony Mackie, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jordin Sparks and Jeffrey Wright. The film, which has Jennifer playing a heroin addict, went into limited release on October 11. Here’s some plot action:
During a sweltering summer in New York City, 13-year-old Mister’s (Brooks) hard-living mother (Hudson) is apprehended by the police, leaving the boy and nine-year-old Pete (Dizon) alone to forage for food while dodging child protective services and the destructive scenarios of the Brooklyn projects. Faced with more than any child can be expected to bear, the resourceful Mister nevertheless feels he is an unstoppable force against seemingly unmovable obstacles. But what really keeps the pair in the survival game is much more Mister’s vulnerability than his larger-than-life attitude.
As they’ve done since 1996, DoSomething.org shined a spotlight on noble young people under the age of 25 who have done outstanding work in their communities and the world. The organization joined with VH1 in 2007 to begin airing a more star-studded award show. As with previous years, celebs got dolled-up & hit the red carpet (in this case, light green carpet) to show their support, with Sophia Bush, Roselyn Sanchez & Jennifer Hudson as notable standouts.
Here’s more from the non-profit’s Wiki: “The Do Something Awards include both young people involved in activism and individuals from the entertainment industry who have dedicated their time to activism and charity. The top 5 Do Something Awards receive a $10,000 community grant, while the grand prize winner receives a $100,000 grant to push its community projects forward.”
We should mention that this year’s top prize went to Daniel Maree for founding Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, which is a “multiracial alliance of concerned citizens, civil society organizations, and community leaders who are fed up with the unprecedented levels of unrestrained violence directed at young people of color in this country.”

The pre-Oscars parties were in full swing as of last night, so I hope you guys are ready for the flood of photos. Here’s a gallery featuring a few of our favorite attendees at the QVC Red Carpet Style Party held at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Hotel in Los Angeles. Do celebs really shop at QVC?! Come on, now!

I seriously can’t believe we missed out on the supermodel-packed Versace SoHo Store opening party in NYC on Wednesday night (Oct. 24), considering all the ladies in attendees are pretty much our bread & butter from a hotness standpoint. The only ones missing were Ale, Adri, Miranda & Candice—Ok, I guess the guest list from far from perfect, but hey, when you got Bar Refaeli & Doutzen Kroes catwalking around, you can’t be too greedy.
Enough gibber-jabber & let’s get to our useless polling. We’ve included two polls—one w/ everyone & another just a face-off between Doutzen & Bar. As always, think everything through carefully before voting!! Consider this as practice for the real deal come November 6th! OW!

Damn, Jennifer Hudson is getting Adidas cash now, as well? It seems like she earns more money from these various sponsorship deals than she does actually singing, so major props to her team of agents & assistants for successfully whoring—I mean–selling their client to anybody who’ll pay for her valuable time. At least she’s not like Salma Hayek doing Burger King commercials b/c let’s face it, when was the last time Salma Hayek, of all people, hit Burger King for a meal? J.Huds & Weight Watchers just seems far more believable, that’s all.
These latest photos were snapped on set in Los Angeles over the weekend as Jennifer looked fairly upbeat with her Pomeranian puppy despite the fast approaching trial of the man accused of killing her mother, brother, and nephew back in October, 2008.

Along with the city of Beverly Hills, the annual Rodeo Drive Lighting Ceremony was co-sponsored by Swarovski Elements. Others on hand included singer Jennifer Hudson & former Miss California 2009 and Miss USA 2009 first runner-up Carrie Prejean. As always, J. Alba looked beautiful from all angles! Here’s more from the event:
The 30-year-old actress – who welcomed her second daughter Haven in August – was wearing a Swarovski Winter Garden necklace in support of Baby2Baby as she switched on the art installation to mark the start of the holiday season.
Jessica said: “Thank you Swarovski Elements and the city of Beverly Hills for making our holiday season so glamorous and beautiful and sparkly – ’cause us girls like sparkly things.
“And thank you for making this necklace. They are making a very generous donation this holiday season in honour of this collaboration to Baby2Baby which is an organisation that is near and dear to my heart.
“We give baby essentials to families in need in this area so when you buy this necklace, you’re not only getting something fabulous and sparkly but you’re also giving to a family that really needs it this holiday season.” [Source]
I think it’s safe to assume that Versace founder Gianni Versace just had a heart attack inside his grave.
The star-studded event was held at Pier 57/Hudson River Park near NYC’s Meat Packing District to celebrate the Versace for H&M launch. Along with a fashionably glamorous party, the launch included a glitzy runway fashion show.
I don’t know about you bastards, but I’m just not digging these high-end designers degrading their brand’s prestige by making things for mall stores. I get it, there’s a lot of money to be made, but mall brands mixing & mingling w/ one of the top brands in the world shouldn’t even be an option. I guess Versace is willing to do whatever it takes to remain one of the few high-end designers who’re still private.

NYC’s socialites got together to raise some dough for AIDS last night at the 2nd Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala held at The Museum of Modern Art. Jennifer Hudson & Beth Ostrosky Stern were just a couple of the long list of guests. After reviewing the red carpet pics, I gotta admit, the super model community was kinda snubbed invites. I guess everyone’s feeling a little tight lately–even when it comes to dropping cash for a good cause.
Jennifer Hudson has been all over the place promoting her latest album “I Remember Me” & showing off her hot new bod after slimming things down (thanks to Weight Watchers). If things hold true as they do with most diets, we’re pretty sure she’ll gain it back within a year.
As for Beth Ostrosky, she looked like a million bucks, even though the silky dress looked like a photograph of a room in some European palace. I guess being married to the King of All Radio can do that to your wardrobe.
Jennifer Hudson latest album “I Remember Me” released last month, so now she’s in Europe pimping it to the masses. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, so let’s hope she cashes in big. She deserves it, damn it!
The pics in this set are all from the past few days as she makes various promotional appearances in London.
Here’s more about her second album’s reception from the its Wiki page:
Entertainment Weekly’s Mikael Wood gave I Remember Me a B+ rating and complimented its “a lighter vibe”. Chicago Sun-Times writer Thomas Conner noted its songs as “mid-tempo” and complimented their “deft and delicate rhythmic elements”. Elysa Gardner of USA Today gave the album three-and-a-half out of four stars and stated “Even when the material […] flirts with the banal, Hudson’s unmannered strength and class shine through, as surely as the technical prowess she wields with confidence and discretion”. However, Kevin Ritchie of NOW gave the album a three out of five rating and commented that “Hudson’s stratospheric voice […] overflows with emotion, and subtlety’s in short supply”.(Source)
