The 2013 Costume Institute Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In celebration to the Met’s exhibition “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”, the event brings out a who’s who in the world of fashion with numbers of celebrities wearing one-of-a-king creations. The gala was co-chaired by co-chaired by Rooney Mara, Lauren Santo Domingo, Riccardo Tisci, and Anna Wintour. For more coverage from last night’s gala, visit The Met Gala at Vogue.com.
The upcoming exhibition will feature punk’s influence on fashion including “original punk garments and recent, directional fashion to illustrate how haute couture and ready-to-wear borrow punk’s visual symbols.” The exhibition runs from May 9th through August 16th. All three ladies looked absolutely beautiful as they hit up one of the final runway shows of the Fall/Winter 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Olivia Wilde & Jessica Chastain were spotted in the front row at the Calvin Klein Fall Collection Fashion Show yesterday afternoon, while Ausie model Jessica Hart also catwalked her way to the event rocking a very old-school-new-school look that I’m digging a lot. When you’re a beautiful, world-class supermodel, I think it’s fairly easy to pull off pretty much anything.
At the end of the day, if I had to choose a favorite of the three, I’d have to go w/ Jessica Chastain. She’ll be the center of attention, regardless of whether she’s walking back home following her theatre gig or hitting up a Fashion Week runway show. She’s simply a classic beauty. Her Broadway debut “The Heiress,” in which she played Catherine Sloper, had its final show on Feb. 9 after running since November. Check her out in theaters as she’s starring in two major films, “Zero Dark Thirty” and the seemingly “low-budget” horror flick “Mama,” which has already earned nearly $80 million (production budget was around $15 million).

Personally we think she needs to get more love for the lingerie catalogue. Nothing wrong with these cute little cotton numbers but Jessica needs to be stripping and getting half-naked for the top line collections for Victoria’s Secret. The gap just adds to the appeal, damnitt!!
