I say this each season these network marketing events go down, so since it’s that time once again, I think it’s fairly obviously that The CW has, by far, the hottest employees of all the major networks. If that wasn’t enough, the hottest of the bunch including Leighton Meester, Blake Lively & AnnaLynne McCord were no-shows this time around, so major props to the network’s casting department for consistently hitting home runs from a hotness standpoint!
Also, if you missed our earlier post with Nina Dobrev & AnnaSophia Robb from the same event, check it here.

Photo Credit: Pacific Coast News Read our review of “Super 8″ here! These were snapped this past Wednesday (Nov. 22) at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
The cast of this past summer’s critically acclaimed “Super 8” was on hand for the big Blue-ray & DVD release party. Normally these things happen quietly without any of the cast bothering to show up, but since this project involves Hollywood bigwigs like J. J. Abrams (writer) & Steven Spielberg (producer), everyone’s proceeding very cautiously. I think the only person not in attendance was Steven Spielberg.
When “Super 8″ was in theaters it raked in a somewhat disappointing $250 million, but when you’re film costs only $50 mil to make, you can’t feel too badly, right? I guess expectations were a little too high, to say the least. Then again, the Blu-ray & DVD should pull in millions more, so I’m sure Steven Spielberg & J.J. Abrams won’t have too much trouble buying gifts this holiday season.

The dude in the middle is their Friend With Benefits, co-star Ryan Hansen. Both Jessica Lucas and Danneel Harris star as the show follows a group of 5 friends living in Chicago. The show is scheduled to start up next for the 2010-2011 season.

These were snapped last night in Beverly Hills.
These days you can find Jessica Lucas strutting her goodies as she plays the role of a grammar school teacher named Riley Richmond in the CW-revival of the 90s-classic “Melrose Place.”
Since it premiered in back in September, the show ran into a rough patch in the viewers department & as a result, the producers are dropping deadweight stars like Ashlee Simpson. No worries, though, Jessica is the show’s token “hot black chick,” so I can’t see her getting canned anytime soon.

Jessica Lucas is Riley Richmond in the new Melrose Place. So who’s caught the show? Some of the early reviews from the pilot weren’t so critical as 2.3 million people did view the show (compared to the 2.6 million that watched the season premiere of 90210).
“Camp has given way to noir, soap has morphed into mystery, and acting and dialogue have become more sophisticated while alcoholism, drug addiction, infidelity and even murder remain among the permanent residents of the fictitious 4616 Melrose Place.”
“it remains to be seen whether the new Melrose will become as giddily addictive as its predecessor — but it’s off to a promisingly dizzy start.” Wiki
And, for those of you who don’t know, Ms. Lucas plays the role of Riley Richmond, a grammar school teacher, in the new “Melrose Place,” which premiered last week. Hit up the show’s official website for more timing & channel info.
