Star Trek Into Darkness finally hits US theaters this Friday, May 17th, so the L.A. premiere was held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood last night. Will the film live up to the hype? Who knows but with an estimated budget of $185 million, they’d better sell a lot of tickets rather than folks looking for bootleg copies since it’s already been in theaters overseas. Once again, the film is the sequel to J.J. Abrams’ 2009 Star Trek and will once again also star Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho, and Bruce Greenwood. For more info, visit the Star Trek Into Darkness official website.

Jessica Szohr & Krysten Ritter were on hand at the big Tao Beach 2012 season opening party at crazy-sized pool at the Venetian Hotel. If I didn’t try to avoid Vegas for the past 5-6 years (it always ends badly), these mega pools might actually be worth checking out. Although considering it’s Vegas, I’m pretty sure prostitutes are generously sprinkled among the juicier patrons at the pool and just when you think you worked your amazing game reeling in a hot chick, she turns out to be a prostitute. Don’t you hate when that happens? Then again, it could be worse: The prostitute could turn out to be a tranny–or freakier (not that there’s anything wrong with trannies).
Aside from bagging nice appearance fees & casino comps (drinks, luxurious suite, etc.), the two beauties also promoted their latest projects. Krysten Ritter is the star of the ABC comedy series “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23,” which premiered to a promising start last month. As for Jessica Szohr, her new film, a romantic-comedy-horror titled “Love Bite,” which already released in the UK, will go into wide-release in the US later in the summer (we think). The plot revolves around a new hottie in town who’s killing only virgins, so when people finally realize it, everyone’s dying to have sex. Sounds like a porno plot.

Valentino has been in business for 50 years and to celebrate they launched a new flagship store on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills last night with a huge party attended by a lot of ladies. A lot of the attendees apparently were sporting the Valentino clutch; ladies will know what I’m talking about. Also, the event gave a preview of the 50th anniversary Valentino capsule collection, which features 50 ready-to-wear pieces inspired by Valentino Garavani’s animal prints from the sixties. Anyways, why try to write anything else because we really don’t have much to say and by the looks of it you all will have a lot of clicking to go through… [Source]
As we stated, there were a lot of attendees of orevermark & InStyle “A Promise Of Beauty And Brilliance” Golden Globe Awards event and here are 12 more. Better to break it out into separate posts than flood you with almost 30 pages of clicking, right? Anyways, since we’re talking about the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, watch it live on NBC this Sunday night at 8pm ET, hosted by Ricky Gervais.
We already posted Christina Hendricks and Sarah Jessica Parker from the I Don’t Know How She Does It premiere but there were other ladies who did attend, we’re just a a couple days late now.
So the movie stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Christina Hendricks, Pierce Brosnan, and Greg Kinnear, and is based on Allison Pearson’s novel. Sarah pays Kate Reddy, a financial executive and the breadwinner of her family. Look for it in theaters this Friday. For more info, visit the I Don’t Know How She Does It official website.
By day, Kate Reddy (Sarah Jessica Parker) works for a Boston-based financial management firm; by night, she’s a devoted mother to two adoring children and the happily married wife of out-of-work architect Richard (Greg Kinnear). Though balancing those two worlds has its fair share of challenges, Kate generally manages to come out on top thanks to the support of her best friend, Allison (Christina Hendricks), who’s had plenty of experience balancing kids and a career. Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Kate’s sharp-as-a-tack junior associate assistant, Momo (Olivia Munn), possesses a fear of children and a strong work ethic. Just when Kate lands a lucrative new account that will see her traveling across the country on a regular basis, however, her new business associate Jack (Pierce Brosnan) reveals his flirtatious side and Richard receives a job offer he can’t turn down. Though it looks as if Kate and Richard couldn’t possibly take on any more responsibility, the demands of modern living ensure they’ll never have a dull moment, even if they try. [Source]
