Supermodels Doutzen Kroes & Joan Smalls celebrated the first day of New York Fashion Week with ultra-sexy outfits that highlighted their freakishly toned midriffs. Major props to both ladies. As for reality TV diva Kylie Jenner, she was doing her best to look more professional (as opposed to the usual hipster prostitute look) as she attended a Kendall & Kylie Pop-Up launch event held at Samsung 837 in the Meatpacking District.
Here’s the interview during which the sisters discuss their latest collection. When asked about their source of the inspiration, Kendall conveniently replied, “The inspiration is us.” Riiight.

I read a number of articles about Bennet Omalu, the physician who first discovered the existence of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) after examining the brains of several deceased NFL players and and knew instantly that they’d turn the story into a film! Lo and behold, we have none other than Will Smith playing the role of Dr. Omalu (he even does the Nigerian accent!) in what appears to be a great film set to score a number of Oscar nominations (Will Smith is already getting Best Actor nods).
So yeah, for those of you looking to avoid “Star Wars” this holiday season, make sure you check out either “Concussion,” “The Big Short,” or “Joy”— all three seem like nice way to spend a couple hours.
More about the film, followed by the trailer:
Set in 2005, the movie is a dramatic storytelling depiction of Bennet Omalu’s race against time to publicize CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) in American football players and games and the attempts by the NFL to deny the problem and to disparage the doctor. Source

Here are Joan Smalls, Jarah Mariano, Victoria Justice at the 2015 amfAR Inspiration Gala New York at Spring Studios. Miley Cyrus and Andy Cohen were recognized for their work in the fight against AIDS. The Inspiration Gala included a runway show, awards presentation and performance by Mary J Blige. amFAR is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the support of AIDS research and HIV prevention and education.
Unlike most film festivals, when it comes to the Cannes Film Festival, elite supermodels are pretty much a staple, whether it’s the world-famous red carpet at a premiere or one of the ultra-luxurious evening parties following the premieres. High-end designers & jewellers are typically the ones who foot the bill when it comes to parties. Chopard enjoyed its time in the spotlight over the weekend and last night was Swiss jeweller De Grisogono’s chance to sparkle.

Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls were amongst the celebrities at the Chanel dinner during Tribeca Film Festival. Missing by her side was Karlie’s BFF Taylor Swift who we’re certain is currently in New York City given her leggy sightings over the weekend. The Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 15-26.
Victoria’s Secret models Behati Prinsloo and Joan Smalls shooting a commercial in Puerto Rico. Behati and Joan were enjoying the warm weather. Joan is from the island nation so most certainly has been showing Behati to beautiful sights it has to offer.
