The fashionable ladies came out last ngiht in NYC as Ferragamo celebrated The Launch Of L’Icona Highlighting The 35th Anniversary of Vara. The classic Vara shoe is getting a reboot by Salvatore Ferragamo and while it’s pretty much the same look, the supposed attitude of it has changed. The celebrities came out as the New Yorkers for Children 10th Anniversary Spring Dinner Dance was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC. Presented by Valentino, “New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete” benefitted youth in foster care. With décor designed exclusively by David Stark the night featured dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. Gucci and The Cinema Society held a screening of Oz the Great and Powerful at the DGA Theater in NYC. As you already know, the film stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs / The Wizard of Oz, Mila Kunis as Theodora, along with Michelle Williams as Glinda and Rachel Weisz as Evanora. With a $200 million budget, there are high expectations for this film and we’ll know soon enough as the film opens in theaters on Friday, March 8th. The 2013 SI Swimsuit Issue supermodels were almost out in full force last night (where you at Irina?!?) driving dudes wild on The Strip in Las Vegas as they hit up 1 Oak Nightclub in The Mirage to host “Club SI Swimsuit”. Yes, all your favorites were there including Katherine Webb who once again killed it on the red carpet. But in addition to 1 Oak, later on in the night, Genevieve, Emily, and Kate Bock stayed out even later to host a VVIP After Party at The Bank Nightclub in The Bellagio (hence why we didn’t bother posting their red carpet appearances at 1 Oak). I’ll be honest, I don’t know exactly where Sports Illustrated plans to go, but in order to keep things interesting at future events, S.I. should consider the possibility of auctioning off their swimsuit models for a weekend to famous sugar daddies where, of course, all the money raised would go to various charities around the globe. It’s for a good cause, damn it!! Just think about it, some dude could be cruising around in his frickin’ yacht in Miami with Nina Agdal or one of the rookies! I’m pretty sure S.I. could easily raise a few million & possibly even create long-lasting relationships. Again, it’s all for a good cause!!

The other night in New York was a screening at Sunshine Landmark Cinemas also attended by SI swimsuit model Julie Henderson. Keep up with the latest news on the Safe Haven Facebook page.
