The 2013 Costume Institute Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In celebration to the Met’s exhibition “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”, the event brings out a who’s who in the world of fashion with numbers of celebrities wearing one-of-a-king creations. The gala was co-chaired by co-chaired by Rooney Mara, Lauren Santo Domingo, Riccardo Tisci, and Anna Wintour. For more coverage from last night’s gala, visit The Met Gala at Vogue.com.

The upcoming exhibition will feature punk’s influence on fashion including “original punk garments and recent, directional fashion to illustrate how haute couture and ready-to-wear borrow punk’s visual symbols.” The exhibition runs from May 9th through August 16th. Here are few more ladies who walked the red carpet at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Combine that with the first post of fashionable ladies and the rest of our coverage from the award show and you get the idea that this was the place to be last night. As you already know, Rebel Wilson hosted while Selena Gomez and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performed. The 2013 MTV Movie Awards took place at The Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. The Dark Knight Rises, Silver Linings Playbook, Ted, and Django Unchained each led the way with seven nominations a piece. The Avengers took home Best Movie in addition to Best Villian and Best Fight but it was Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper who took home Best Actress and Best Actor along with Best Kiss. Before heading back to NYC via LAX, Candice Swanepoel attended a Victoria’s Secret SWIM 2013 Party along with Karlie Kloss and Alessandra Ambrosio at a private residence in Beverly Hills. Sorry we couldn’t send out formal invites to all you Los Angeles-based readers, but hopefully next time! The girls were over in our backyard to do a quick & dirty photo call event ahead of the official Victoria’s Secret 2013 Swim Collection launch. All three Angels, Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, & Alessandra Ambrosio, looked beautiful as they worked their mojo in front of cameras before we dabbled in a delicious game of Twister—we’ll try to get those photos up later tonight.

Later in the day, Ale & Candice ditched Karlie & hit up Extra! for an interview w/ Mario Lopez at The Grove shopping center. God damn, look at Alessandra Ambrosio’s leggy dress–or whatever she’s wearing. Is she going straight to DWTS or what?! Jesus, woman!!

At around the three minute mark, the old anchorman goes on a random monologue where he actually drops ‘airhead models’ in an attempt to make a point about how much money Ale & Candice earns. It was very funny…

QUOTE: “And also, not to discuss business, but if people watching are, “Aaah, they’re kinda cute—cute models.” You two are very successful business people and you’ve earned a lot of money. I think that’s the point I want to make. Forbes recognizes the two of you as very, very successful, so if you want to do the, ‘Oh look, some airhead models‘—forget about it! They make much more money than you do.”

Ale just looked to her off-camera helpers & Candice just responded with a simple, “Thanks for that” followed by a “Fuck you, old” smile.
