With Gisele currently in the tail end of her career (which will probably last another 5-10 years when you take into consideration the technical breakthroughs in airbrushing), Karlie Kloss might just be the model who will go on to take the top spot in the coming years. Having said that, she definitely has a huge pay-scale mountain to climb when you look at last year’s list (via Forbes):
We should note that Karlie made $4 million in 2014, but that was mainly because she was under contract with Victoria’s Secret. Now that’s no longer with the brand, she’s free to take her services to countless other brands and it appears she’s doing exactly that! If spring 2015 is any hint at how Karlie will do for the year, it’s looking like it will be a very lucrative one. Karlie officially has campaigns from some big name brands including Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade NY, Joe Fresh and L’Oreal Paris, just to name a few. I’m pretty sure she’ll be in the top 5 list of high-earners.
With that said, these latest photos are coming from TIME’s 100 Most Influential People In The World event held last night at Lincoln Center in NYC. We didn’t see any other VS models in attendance, so it seems like Karlie’s doing much better with the VS shackles off her body.

Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls were amongst the celebrities at the Chanel dinner during Tribeca Film Festival. Missing by her side was Karlie’s BFF Taylor Swift who we’re certain is currently in New York City given her leggy sightings over the weekend. The Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 15-26.
And, all this time we thought Karlie Kloss was going to be part of a new dream team of Angels at Victoria’s Secrets, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. She apparently doesn’t have the time to maintain all her side committments and do the whole VS gig—or the real reason could be simply that she VS wouldn’t cough up the money she wanted in return for her services. We’re going to assume it’s the latter.
For the record, her other commitments include a presumably lucrative gig as the face of Chanel’s iconic Coco Noir fragrance, as well as an official ambassador for L’Oreal Paris. One thing is for sure, she’s certainly building up an amazing resume!

So, who needs the other person more? Does Taylor need Karlie or vice versa?
This is something that came to mind just a few seconds ago and we figured it would serve as great filler material to go along with these new photos of Karlie Kloss. First, a comment on the photos at hand. We’re assuming Karlie was leaving Taylor’s pad after what was probably a Tantric scissor session that went on for long & sweaty hours yesterday afternoon.
Karlie was carrying a bag from Lord & Taylor, so i think it’s also safe to assume that Karlie brought Taylor a few new clothes she could try on and who knows, Taylor could’ve modeled the clothes for Karlie right before the scissor fest went into high gear.
Anyway, we’ll leave you guys to debate the complex dynamics of the Karlie-Taylor relationship. And, oh yeah, don’t forget to submit your vote below…
These were snapped earlier today as Taylor Swift & supermodel Karlie Kloss were spotted leaving the gym together in NYC. Normally it’s just Taylor making her grand exit wearing one of her leggy outfits, so I’m surprised Karlie put herself through the walk-of-shame behind Taylor.
I wonder what goes through Karlie Kloss’ head when she meets up with Taylor for a casual brunch or shopping trip & Taylor arrives with her two bodyguards looking like she spent the entire day getting ready? I’m assuming it’s a little awkward, but hey, it’s also possible that Karlie knows about Taylor’s (secret) grand plan of becoming a Victoria’s Secret model.
