The always-beautiful Kate Beckinsale was seen doing some shopping at Barney’s NY in Beverly Hills for some lucky people on her holiday gift list. It’s probably the way she carries herself, but Kate always has a way of looking like a million bucks even when she’s dressed in seemingly simple clothes. The actress was seen clutching her two iPhones as she left the store after making a small purchase.

The star-studded 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards (visit the official website) were held at the The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica last night and, believe it or not, but I actually watched a few minutes of it. Many people believe that the CCA’s are usually an excellent predictor the upcoming award season leading up to academy awards in February, so we’ll see how last night’s winners hold up as the weeks go by. Having said that, a few more heavy-hitting Oscar favorites will release over the next couple weeks, so those names will get added to the nominations list.

This drama follows a recent college graduate who begins a relationship with his father’s mistress. Jeff Bridges, Callum Turner and Pierce Brosnan also star in the film, which is titled after a 1970 song written by Paul Simon and performed by Simon and Garfunkel on their “Bridge Over Troubled Water” album (via Variety).

Kate Beckinsale turned 43 years old and celebrated with a dinner at Scott’s in Mayfair, London. Kate looked elegant in a light pink dress and gold heels. She was escorted by comedian David Williams, who she was seen on a dinner date at Scott’s over the weekend. You’ll next see Kate in the upcoming horror film “The Disappointments Room” in November.
As we’ve said over & over through the years, Kate Beckinsale will look amazing in pretty much anything. The papz spotted the actress arriving on a flight at JFK from Los Angeles looking very stylish in a silky outfit, coupled with a sexy pink pair of pink heels and a tan-colored shawl with hearts. The woman is 42 and still killin’ it, so congrats to Kate.
The always-beautiful & sexy Kate Beckinsale blessed the Christian Dior Cruise Fashion Show with her attendance. The event was held at the Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, France. A number of celebs were on hand for the event, most notably Eva Herzigova, Gemma Arterton, Olga Kurylenko, Elizabeth Olsen and Emma Roberts (we’ll get our favorites up below w/ and update to this post a little later). In the meantime, enjoy some Kate…
Actress Kate Beckinsale continues to spice things up on the promotional tour of her latest film ‘Love & Friendship’ as she headed back home to London for a premiere event held at the Curzon Cinema. Kate’s dress was a sexy and classy—all depending on your angle. From the front it was all class and from the back it looked like Kate was wearing a bikini top.
The film, which also stars Chloë Sevigny, Xavier Samuel and Stephen Fry, is directed & produced by Whit Stillman and based on the short novel “Lady Susan” by Jane Austen. Here’s more about the story:
Set in the 1790s, the widowed Lady Susan Vernon seeks refuge with her in-laws as rumors about her private life circulate through society. While staying at the estate, Lady Susan decides to find herself and her daughter, Frederica, a husband.
The promotional announcement by Little, Brown and Company for the novelization supplemented the summary to Stillman’s adaptation stating; “Recently widowed, Lady Susan arrives, unannounced, at her brother-in-law’s estate to wait out colorful rumors about her dalliances circulating through polite society. While there, she becomes determined to secure a new husband for herself, and one for her reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica, too. As Lady Susan embarks on a controversial relationship with a married man, seduction, deception, broken hearts, and gossip all ensue. With a pitch-perfect Austenian sensibility, Stillman breathes new life into Austen’s work, making it his own by adding original narration from a character comically loyal to the story’s fiendishly manipulative heroine, Lady Susan.” Source
I have to admit, ever since Kate Beckinsale ditched Len Wiseman, she’s certainly attending a lot more events. I was going to also say that she appears to be smiling more, but I think Kate was always a very happy person—at least on the red carpet. These days, Kate’s finishing up doing promo work for her latest film “Love & Friendship,” which also stars Chloë Sevigny, Xavier Samuel and Stephen Fry. The film hit theaters May 13, 2016.
