The 2013 Costume Institute Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In celebration to the Met’s exhibition “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”, the event brings out a who’s who in the world of fashion with numbers of celebrities wearing one-of-a-king creations. The upcoming exhibition will feature punk’s influence on fashion including “original punk garments and recent, directional fashion to illustrate how haute couture and ready-to-wear borrow punk’s visual symbols.” The exhibition runs from May 9th through August 16th. First came Dawson’s Creek. Then came marriage to the Prince of Scientology. And now comes life as a single parent in the dating jungle.

Katie Holmes, according to new media reports, is reentering the dating scene after a scant seven months as the former Mrs. Tom Cruise. Is there someone special in her life? Eh, not so much. It seems that Katie is being very, very cautious about whom she dates because of her status as a mother and becuase of her past high profile relationship, which naturally means her rebound better be one helluva rebound if it has any chance of being anything more than pure tabloid fodder.

Per the report, “the mom-of-one was spurred on to divorce her high-profile hubby after becoming sick of his ‘controlling ways’ and growing more and more irritated by Tom’s desire to control their relationship, their daughter’s upbringing and Katie’s every move — something she has vowed never to be subjected to again.”

If it’s freedom you want, K. Holmes, stay single. If not, I hear Derek Jeter is auditioning wives. And he doesn’t even go to church!

Man, I wonder how long it’s been since Katie Holmes actually had sex after popping out Suri b/c I have a feeling that Tom Cruise & her weren’t getting it on all that much. Expert man-whore Jake Gyllenhaal probably had a lot of fun with Katie after he busted through the cobwebs that had built up between Katie’s legs due to lack of use. We’re pretty sure Tom had a set of sex rules, which probably included a shortlist of sexual positions they could try behind closed doors, so having sex w/ Jake was probably a very liberating experience. It’s rumored the two have been secretly dating for several weeks after being introduced by Katie’s former “Dawson’s Creek” co-star Joshua Jackson. They’ve apparently hit up a few dinners in the NYC, so I’m kind of shocked that this news is breaking so late.

The pair have also seen each other on Broadway, with Katie staring in ‘Dead Accounts’ and Jake in ‘If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet’. A bastardly source close to Katie revealed that she has ‘tons in common and Jake has already been to see her in Dead Accounts, plus she has been over to his apartment in the West Village for dinner.’ As most of you bastards know, Jake is no newbie when it comes dating famous women after having slept with Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon and Kirsten Dunst over the years.

Blake Lively wasn’t the only lady to attend the 12-12-12 Concert Benefitting the victims of Hurricane Sandy at Madison Square Garden in New York City. As we’ve already states, the concert featured Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who, and Paul McCartney. With ticket prices ranging from $150 to $2,500, the sold out concert as being shown on 37 television stations in the United States and more than 200 others worldwide. It was to be streamed on 30 websites, including YouTube and Yahoo, and played on radio stations. Theaters, including 27 in the New York region and dozens more elsewhere, were showing it live. Former Disney star-turned NY Times Bestselling author Hilary Duff is getting more & more comfortable with her son Luca as the mom & son duo were spotted out & about in Sherman Oaks. After picking up groceries in Beverly Hills, the two hit up a mall for some shopping. Lucky bastard.

Gwen Stefani was seen shopping for costumes with her son Zuma in Sherman Oaks.

The always-reserved ‘Madmen’ star January Jones showed very little emotion as she arrives with her baby son Xander Jones for a meeting in Malibu.

And finally, we got Katie Holmes livin’ the life of the 1% in NYC’s West Village with her daughter Suri. The duo were out at the park w/ Katie helping Suri learn to ride her pink bike.

Katie Holmes Fans Pity Party Flames w/ Daily Trips To Whole Foods; Is Tom Cruise Slowly Becoming The Victim?

I know all the TomKat breakup drama has been beaten to death over the past couple weeks, but we’d like to show Tom Cruise some love by focusing on the public approach Katie Holmes & her lawyers are using as the divorce inches forward.

Suri: Katie’s Pity Tool
Even if she had an inkling of doubt about Tom Cruise’s sanity, why take the baby plunge!?! Is Suri just a cash-cow for Katie or what?! What the hell was she thinking? All these holes in Katie’s story points to somebody who’s definitely mentally unstable & consistently makes very questionable decisions at key points in her life.

It’s very sad, but Suri is obviously a major part of Katie Holmes’s overall legal & PR strategy. What kind of caring parent would continue living under NYC’s ruthless media spotlight & even decide to make nonchalant trips to the grocery store at a time when she knows very well how the media will react to her every move?! Katie Holmes is portraying herself as a woman who has very screwy motivations. All we’re saying is that Katie fucked up, but why is she dragging her innocent daughter through the misery? That poor girl will only end up doing massive amounts of drugs & hating both her parents for fucking up her life.

Scientology
Katie Holmes knew about it when she decided to tie the knot, so was she proceeding with the assumption that Tom Cruise would one day suddenly see the light & screw his core belief that 75 million years ago Lord Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecrafts resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes?

Also, we should mention that everyone in the media was screaming, “What the fuck?” while all this was going down, so there’s really no excuse for Katie to play the convenient “I didn’t know” card. Who knows, maybe she didn’t do any research on Scientology or Tom Cruise before taking the plunge, but that’s highly doubtful.

While Katie Holmes continues to play with fire (i.e. crazy people running the Church of Scientology), she needs to realize that the people advising her behind closed doors are merely fanning the flames of her own demise. She might appear as if she just woke up after being in a Scientology-induced coma for the past six years, but I feel like her actions are more about getting revenge than about protecting her daughter’s future. This won’t end well for anybody besides maybe Tom Cruise.
