Who knows, maybe the 18th breakup will be the charm?

This comes just a month after John Mayer appeared on CBS Sunday Morning & opened his heart about his relationship w/ Katy Perry saying what they shared was “something very human.” He went on to say, “I don’t feel like I’m in a celebrity relationship. I don’t feel it for the first time of my life… I really don’t. I’m not even in a high-profile (relationship)… I know it’s high-profile, but it’s hard to explain. It doesn’t feel that way to me and it’s great and I’m glad…”

Riiiight, so what the fuck happened? Did John Mayer crack religious jokes while watching the latest episode of the wildly popular History Channel miniseries “The Bible” or was it because he’s going on tour to promote his new album and as a result, the couple won’t have time to have sex with each other? A bastarldy source close to the couple reveals to Us Magazine that although they’re splitting right now, the break-up might not be permanent. The source goes on to add, “It’s sad… It’s not over until it’s over. You have to see how things play out. (Perry)’s leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work.”

This sounds like a simple case of “We’ll be too busy to have sex over the next few months, so why not take a break from each other & rendezvous later in the fall when we have more time?” At least they’re being honest to each other, right?
