Both Emmy Rossum & Kirsten Dunst spiced things up on the red carpet in their own way at last night’s big Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft theatre in Los Angeles. I wouldn’t say Kirsten Dunst is exactly easy on the eyes like Emmy Rossum, but I think that’s fairly obvious when you take into consideration what she wore on the red carpet last night.

Just like they do every year, A-listers got dolled up and appeared on the red carpet at the 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. We’ve chosen just a few of our favorites for you guys to put under the microscope.
Famous couples that caught our eye were Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who got married back in August. They haven’t divorced yet, so it looks like they might hit the six month mark! Good for them! And, newly engaged Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham were also there showing off the $350K engagement bling! We’re still looking for a high-res close-up of the rock.
With respect to the show, it was broadcast on A&E, and hosted by “Silicon Valley” actor T. J. Miller. “Spotlight” won Best Film while “Mad Max: Fury Road” took home the most awards (9) after receiving the most nominations (13). Individual award winners included Leo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Sylvester Stallone, Alicia Vikander, Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Christian Bale and Amy Schumer. Check out the full list of winners and nominees. Visit Critics’ Choice for complete coverage.
In addition to our earlier posts, here are a few more of our favorites to catwalk down the red carpet at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Aside from Kirsten Dunst, whom we were forced to brown bag (not that anyone was looking at her face), the other ladies on our shortlist should please even the pickiest among you bastards (OK, we’re probably overreaching with that previous statement).
Hosted by Ricky Gervais, some winners of the night were “The Revenant”, “The Martian”, “Mr. Robot”, “Mozart in the Jungle” along with individual awards going to Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Jon Hamm, Matt Damon and Jennifer Lawrence, to name a few. Check out the full list of nominees and winners.
Actresses Isla Fisher & Kirsten Dunst were seen leaving a West Hollywood gym together yesterday afternoon. To help manage the papz situation, both ladies drove to the gym in Kirsten’s Audi Q5 and Isla was later dropped off at her Mini Cooper following the workout.
From a projects standpoint, Isla had two big films hit theaters earlier this year with first ‘The Great Gatsby’ followed by ‘Now You See Me’—both earning a boat load of cash at the box-office. Her next film ‘Life of Crime‘ will premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival (it will serve as the festival closer). Directed by Daniel Schechter, the film’s cast also includes Jennifer Aniston, Tim Robbins, John Hawkes & Mos Def.
As for Kirsten Dunst, her big film in the second half of 2013 will be the upcoming drama ‘The Two Faces of January‘ by writer & director Hossein Amini. The cast also includes Viggo Mortensen & Oscar Isaac. Judging by its December 18 release date, we’re assuming it’ll be in the running for an Oscar when the 2014 award season rolls around. You can read the plot here.

Kristen Stewart looked amazing & I forgive her for everything. So what if she slept around behind her boyfriend’s back?! It’s not like they were married w/ kids, right? Plus, they’re young & stupid, so if you can’t fuck around when you’re rich, young & beautiful, then when is it cool?! At the end of the day, Robert Pattinson wins big & he’ll be thankful after he sleeps with a few hundred chicks before the end of the year.
Anyway, with regards to the film, we first covered “On The Road” when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, so make sure you check that post for stills directly from the film. The film is one of the first in a long line of Oscar contenders to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival (kicked off Thursday & runs through Sunday, September 16). It’ll make its official premiere in theaters on December 21.
The Walter Salles-directed drama “On The Road” features a deep cast including Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Sam Riley & Garret Hedlund. The film is based on the Jack Kerouac novel of the same name. Here’s some plot action:
After the death of his father, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a wild and infectiously charismatic ex-con. They hit it off immediately. Determined to avoid the pitfalls of a narrow, prescribed life, Sal hits the road, joining Dean on what evolves into a life-changing physical and emotional odyssey. Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, the ecstasy of experience, the connectedness of humanity and ultimately themselves. Source

Here’s info on the plot:
Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan star in this comedy about three dysfunctional friends who attempt to leave the past behind while serving as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they mocked mercilessly back in high school. As teenagers, Regan (Dunst), Gena (Caplan) and Katie (Fisher) used to call Becky (Rebel Wilson) Pig Face. A few years later, Becky is about to tie the knot, and calls on her taunting former classmates to join the wedding party. And though Regan is determined to give Becky a bachelorette bash she’ll never forget, tart-tongued Gena has already started partying hard well before the big night, and capricious Katie seems to have her head stuck in the clouds. Later, as the ladies cut loose and the booze begins to flow, a mishap with the wedding dress sends the entire event spiraling out of control, leading to a wild night of debauchery that neither the bride nor her bridesmaids will ever forget. Jordana Brewster seen out and about in West Hollywood. She currently stars as Elena Ramos in TNT’s series reboot of Dallas. She’ll also once again star as Mia Toretto in Fast Six, this time they’ll be on the run in Europe.
Kirsten Dunst seen leaving a grocery store in Toluca Lake in Los Angeles. After starring in last year’s Melancholia, Kirsten will next be seen in Bachelorette, also starring Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan, and Rebel Wilson. Produced by Will Ferrel and Adam McKay, it’s likely to be hilarious. Look for it in theaters on September 7th.

So, Kim Kardashian probably thinks she belongs at these events, huh? It’s a little sad that she’s there b/c let’s face it, there aren’t too many other porn stars-turned reality TV stars in attendance at this particular event nor any other events at the festival. I guess that’s just one of the perks of letting Kanye West use & abuse you behind closed doors (assuming that their relationship is a real one, of course).
As a side note, funnyman Alec Baldwin, who’s been giving his new fiance Hilaria Thomas a taste of the high life in Cannes, was scheduled to host the gala, but curiously pulled out at the last minute. Rumor has it that he got into a small fight with big-dogg Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein earlier in the week. Considering Harvey’s Entertainment God, don’t be surprised to see Alec Baldwin’s life fall apart in the near future.
We didn’t get a photo of him here, but Super Man Whore Gerard Butler was at the event looking for yet another hot piece of ass. The guy never ceases to amaze me & the fact that I’m overflowing with envy right now forces me to hate him more & more. For the record, he was seen dropping a few lines on Diane Kruger while her man, Joshua Jackson, was cruising around the room. I guess Gerard likes to plant sex seeds inside prospective future sex partners—not a bad idea if your goal is to fuck every hot piece of ass on the planet. That bastard.
The Cannes Film Festival’s most glamorous party went down on Thursday evening at the ultra-luxurious Hotel du Cap in Antibes. The annual amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS gala featured a long list of celebrities, models & straight up filthy rich people in attendance including big ticket names like Karl Lagerfeld, Kenneth Cole, Harvey Weinstein, sugar daddy Gerard Butler & a long list of A-thru-Z-List ladies, some of whom we’ve showcased here. You read a full review of the event here.
