This installment in the X-Men series is once again directed by Bryan Singer and acts as a sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: First Class, and is a follow-up to The Wolverine. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. The National Television Awards were held at the O2 Arena in London. Hosted by Dermot O’Leary, the event was broadcast live on ITV with big winners of the night being Coronation Street, Doctor Who, and Ant and Dec. The Attitude Magazine Awards 2013 was held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. In association with Virgin Holidays, the event raised funds to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Honorees included Daniel Radcliffe for Best Actor while Best Groomed went to Oliver Cheshire and Man of the Year is Singer-songwriter John Grant. The Scottish Fashion Invasion of London at the 8th Annual Scottish Fashion Awards 2013 took place at Dover House in London. This year’s event was hosted by the Secretary of State for Scotland, Michael Moore MP and awards founder Dr Tessa Hartmann. Mary Charteris won the Scottish Model of the Year taking it over Oliver Greenall and Helena McKelvie. Other winners on the night included Christopher Kane, Scottish designer of the Year; Harris Tweed Hebrides, Scottish Ambassador of the Year; and Emeli Sandé, Scottish Fashion Icon.

London Fashion Week kicked off and over the weekend the celebrities came out to enjoy all the fashion shows. The world premiere of One Direction: This Is Us took place in London. Basically it’s a 3D concert for the group, assumingly similar to what we’ve seen before from Justin Bieber and Jonas Brothers. Anyways, we’re sure teenage girls around the world are waiting in anticipation for the films opening on August 29th in the UK, a day later in the US. Billed as an intimate all-access look at life on the road for the global music phenomenon, This Is Us will follow the lives of the five members of the boy band, One Direction: Louis, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Niall. Containing live concert footage from London’s O2 Arena, the film will contain footage from their lives pre- and post-X Factor appearance and give an insight to their fans into the preparation for their concerts and ultimately what it is like to be One Direction.
