Sure she looks comfortable, but whatever it is that she has going in these pics is obviously not good. Leighton, if you’re gonna screw wearing makeup & dressing like a million bucks all the time, why not take advantage of the better Cali weather & at least dress in sexier clothes when out in public? You’re giving “Gossip Girl” a bad name, to say the least.

Leighton’s only film set for release this is year is the crime-drama “God Only Knows,” which also stars Harvey Keitel & Ben Barnes. The film is written by Emilio Mauro & directed by James Mottern. Here’s some plot action:

NYC: Leighton Meester, Blake Lively & “Gossip Girl” Cast Films in Central Park!

Considering this is the sixth & final season of “Gossip Girl,” hope you guy are enjoying these pics of Blake Lively, Leighton Meester & the rest of the cast as we near the inevitable day when the director yells, “That’s a wrap!” These latest photos were snapped yesterday as the girls spent time filming on location in Central Park. As always, Leighton had that now-famous, yet always cute “Just kill me a’ready” face, while Blake wanted to take an AK-47 to the papz. You gotta admit, regardless of what face they’re making, both girls are experts are looking like a million bucks.

Styled to absolute perfection, the “Gossip Girl” hottie Leighton Meester visited various media outlets yesterday promoting her latest film, “The Oranges,” which hits theaters on Friday. Yesterday morning, the 26-year-old actress was on Live With Kelly & Michael, so here’s a clip from that interview:

As for her new romantic comedy “The Oranges,” the cast includes Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener
Adam Brody, Alia Shawkat & Oliver Platt. Check the plot & trailer below:

David and Paige Walling (Hugh Laurie & Catherine Keener) and Terry and Cathy Ostroff (Oliver Platt & Allison Janney) are best friends and neighbors living on Orange Drive in suburban New Jersey. Their comfortable existence goes awry when prodigal daughter Nina Ostroff (Leighton Meester), newly broken up with her fiancé, returns home for Thanksgiving after a five-year absence. Rather than developing an interest in the successful son of her neighbors, Toby Walling (Adam Brody), which would please both families, it’s her parents’ best friend David who captures Nina’s attention.

When the connection between Nina and David is discovered, everyone’s lives are thrown into upheaval, particularly Vanessa Walling’s (Alia Shawkat), Nina’s childhood best friend. It’s not long before the ramifications of the affair begin to work on both families in unexpected and hilarious ways, leading everyone to reassess what it means to be happy. Source

Leighton Meester & Blake Lively on “Gossip Girl” Set; Blake Looks Unhappy

Probably unhappy b/c it finally hit her that she cashed in her “Get Married & Settle Down” card way too early in the game. Her career prospects went from limitless to, well, extremely limited in a matter of minutes following her nuptials. It’s very sad that she bought into whatever Ryan Reynolds was feeding into her ears. Aside from getting hitched, another downer is the fact that Blake wasn’t able to hit up any fashion weeks this season! For a person who was so deeply entrenched into the world of high fashion to suddenly hit the eject button, life must get depressing at times. Designer Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel had big plans for Blake, but I guess he’ll have to wait until after the divorce.

As for these latest photos, they were snapped yesterday afternoon as Blake & Leighton filmed the sixth & final season of their hit show. Both ladies looked fashionable as always, rocking the latest in fall high fashion while on set.

NYC: Leighton Meester Films Final Episodes of “Gossip Girl”

Leighton Meester filmed an episode from the sixth & final season of “Gossip Girl” outside Empire Hotel on Upper West Side of Manhattan. The beautiful 26-year-old actress looked fashionable as always, wearing a light floral coat with tweed pants and accessorized with a blue-and-gray Roger Vivier bag and matching blue suede platform heels.

As she makes the transition from TV sets to theaters, Leighton’s next film “Oranges” screened at the Toronto International Film Festival film earlier this month & goes into wide release on October 5. Along w/ Leighton, the romantic comedy stars Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener, and Adam Brody. Here’s some plot action:
