The MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards 2012 took place over the weekend at Echo Arena in Liverpool. Emeli Sandé won three awards for Best Female, Best Album and Best R&B/Soul and Plan B took Best Male Act and Best Hip Hop/Grime. Other winners included Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, and JLS.
