As we mentioned earlier, NBCUniversal held one of its Upfront events featuring a number of its A-list stars from its various hit shows to help woo prospective advertisers for the upcoming season. Since it’s difficult, if not impossible, to choose simply one from our featured shortlist, we’re going allow you guys choose two of your favorite ladies in the poll below, choose wisely! OW!

Mandy Moore, one of the stars of NBC’s hit drama series “This Is Us,” kept things very simple and stylish as she was spotted catwalking around Beverly Hills. The actress stopped by a hair salon before jumping into her Prius to continue running errands yesterday afternoon. It looks like Mandy is still on the “I’m filthy rich, but want to help the environment so I drive a Prius” bandwagon. Come on Mandy, use some of that “This Is Us” money to buy yourself a Chevy Bolt!!
To celebrate the season finale of one of its hottest TV series, NBC threw a big party and screened the finale of “This is Us” at DGA theatre in Beverly Hills.
All the show’s popular cast members were hand to celebrate. All you die-hard fans of the show will be delighted to read that the show got renewed for another two seasons—a whopping 36 more tear-jerking episodes. This goes without saying, but go ahead and purchase those twenty boxes of Kleenex from Costco because you’ll definitely run through them over the next year.
For those of you who missed the series, make sure you stream it through NBC for a limited time.
For those of you who might have missed the headline, Vanessa Hudgens will star in NBC’s upcoming new action comedy series “Powerless,” which is set to premiere on February 2. Interestingly enough, the show will take place in the DC Universe and follow the many adventures of Emily Locke (played by Vanessa), who, believe it or not, works “as Director of Research & Development at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, that specializes in products for ordinary humans who are poised to be victims of the battles between superheroes and supervillians (Source).” We’re really pulling for Vanessa on this one because it seems like it will be a winner! Check out the new trailer for the show:
Along with Vanessa, we’re also including a few other fashionable favorites from yesterday’s NBC Universal Press Tour held at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
Obviously there were a long list of ladies we’d love to post on here, but let’s face it, every entertainment site on the web has the same exact photos. Plus, we no longer have the budget to flood the site with every photo of every notable attendee from major events. It’s the sad reality of low-budget, Z-list blogs, unfortunately. Having said that, if you want to post your favorite celeb, do so below in the comments.
Dangerously low-cut dresses were definitely a favorite among attendees, so we figured we’d focus on a few of our favorites. Make sure to vote for your favorite in the poll below:
And of course, for those of you who missed the show last night and want to see the complete list of nominees and winners, check the award show’s Wiki entry.
The star-studded 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards (visit the official website) were held at the The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica last night and, believe it or not, but I actually watched a few minutes of it. Many people believe that the CCA’s are usually an excellent predictor the upcoming award season leading up to academy awards in February, so we’ll see how last night’s winners hold up as the weeks go by. Having said that, a few more heavy-hitting Oscar favorites will release over the next couple weeks, so those names will get added to the nominations list.
Let’s review the big winners from last night:
Best Picture: “La La Land”
Best Director: Damien Chazelle – “La La Land”
Best Actor: Casey Affleck – “Manchester by the Sea as Lee Chandler”
Best Actress: Natalie Portman – “Jackie as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis”
Best Supporting Actor: Mahershala Ali – “Moonlight as Juan”
Best Supporting Actress: Viola Davis – “Fences as Rose Maxson”

Now, here’s somebody we don’t see often! Mandy Moore was seen on the set of the new NBC series “This Is Us,” which also stars Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown and others. Premiering on September 20, here’s more about the series:
A group of people born on the same day, including Rebecca (Moore) and Jack (Ventimiglia), a married couple expecting triplets in Pittsburgh, and Kevin (Hartley), a handsome television actor growing bored of his fly bachelor lifestyle. IMDb
Minka & her potential scissor buddy Mandy Moore were spotted out & about Beverly Hills doing some therapeutic shopping. It was recently revealed that Mandy’s going through a divorce, so if there’s any chance of these crossing the tracks into Lesboville, it’s right now.
Some will find it cute & sexy and others will consider it annoying, but friends (possibly with benefits) Mandy Moore and Minka Kelly were seen going for a walking wearing matching outfits in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Recently both ladies were seen leaving the gym together, so I’m curious to find out what else Minka & Mandy do together? Somebody should hack their iCloud and see what they can dig up…
And, in other news, Mandy Moore recently announced that she plans on starting to record a new album by the end of summer.
Get your fantasy caps on, everyone! Actresses Minka Kelly & Mandy Moore were chatting it up as they left a Soul Cycle class together in West Hollywood. Assuming they carpooled to the gym, anyone want to run with what happens next as the two sweaty ladies head home…? We want 3-5 powerful sentences, people! Chop-Chop!
