As her father Johnny Depp closes on a rough & very public divorce and begins another battle with his management company, daughter Lily-Rose Depp (Instagram) appears in good spirits as she enjoys an evening with A-listers at the Cesar Revelations 2017 dinner held at the Salon Chaumet in Paris. Along with Lily-Rose, French actresses Marion Cotillard and Marilyn Lima (Instagram) also spiced things up at the event.

Wow, what happened here? Natalie Portman’s ultra tight dress went too far in the other direction, but I’m sure there’s some maternity that has a healthy balance between comfort, classiness & sex appeal.
As for these photos, they were snapped earlier today at a photocall held in Paris for the new film ‘Assassin’s Creed’, which, believe it or not, is based on the video game franchise of the same name.
The big rumor is obviously that Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard got a little too close while filming their latest film “Allied”—so close, in fact, that Marion is rumored to be carrying Brad Pitt’s baby. Marion quickly put those dirty rumors to rest by stating she’s happily married to her husband of nine years Guillaume Canet. I feel like Brad attempted to do the same thing by appearing for the film’s premiere last night at The Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. Or who knows, maybe it was Brad’s therapist’s idea that he quickly return to the normal flow of his career or else life will be extremely rough following his divorce with Angelina Jolie. It’s anyone’s guess as to what exactly led to the divorce, but I just hope it wasn’t some sort of singular event that caused Angelina to hit the eject button on marriage. When you have that many kids, I think it works to their advantage to have the parents work through issues, regardless of size.
Apologies for diving so deep into the Brangelina gossip. Now let’s turn our attention to his latest film, “Allied”:
In 1942 North Africa, Canadian intelligence officer Max Vatan (Brad Pitt) meets French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard) on a secret mission behind enemy lines. The couple reunites in London and get married, eventually having a child together. Their relationship is strong and normal but becomes threatened by the brink of war, as Vatan is presented with the possibility that Beausejour is a sleeper spy working for the Germans. Vatan is then placed under considerable pressure to kill Beausejour himself or to be executed for failing to obey orders. Convinced of her innocence, he sets out on a very dangerous mission to clear her name.
Does this woman ever age? She’s a 38-year-old mother of one and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The beautiful actress was seen working her style in a leggy dress at a photocall for her new French-language film ‘Two Days, One Night‘. According to the film’s Wiki, it’s a “story of a woman who together with her husband tries to convince her colleagues to renounce their annual bonuses in order for her to keep her job.” The film is in the running for the Palme d’Or in the main competition section at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Since we know there are a lot of you out there legs & shoe fetishes, we figured you’d enjoy a post that focused not on faces and glamorous gowns, but rather on legs & shoes. Hope you guys enjoy it.

I don’t think I’ve seen a bad red carpet photo of Marion Cotillard and she’s continuing that streak as she the 38-year-old French actress attends a Dior-hosted party party at the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival. It appears Marion is on the judging panel along with director Martin Scorsese. Look for plenty more pics of Marion over the next week or so as the festival rolls on. Marion Cotillard looked absolutely beautiful walking the red carpet at “The Immigrant” premiere alongside her co-star Jeremy Renner & the film’s director James Gray. Joaquin Phoenix is also one of hte main stars in film, but I guess he’s busy working on another project since he didn’t show up for the premiere. He doesn’t seem the glitzy type anyway, so I’m sure he didn’t mind skipping out. The Weinstein Company scored distribution rights, so look for the film to compete for awards in early 2014.
Here’s more about the film:
1921. In search of a new start and the American dream, Ewa Cybulski and her sister Magda sail to New York from their native Poland. When they reach Ellis Island, doctors discover that Magda is ill, and the two women are separated. Ewa is released onto the mean streets of Manhattan while her sister is quarantined. Alone, with nowhere to turn and desperate to reunite with Magda, Ewa quickly falls prey to Bruno, a charming but wicked man who takes her in and forces her into prostitution. And then one day, she encounters Bruno’s cousin, the debonair magician Orlando. He sweeps Ewa off her feet and quickly becomes her only chance to escape the nightmare in which she finds herself. Interview w/ Marion Cotillard:
The big challenge for you, who didn’t speak Polish, was obviously the language?
When I want to make a movie, I focus on the beauty of the story and the character,
that’s why I didn’t panic immediately! Then I had to start working, and it got tough.
There is not a single word that sounds like English or French in Polish. And yet
I had no choice. I had to do everything I could to speak Polish without the hint of an
accent. I had very little time, just over a month between Rust and Bone (Jacques
Audiard, 2012) and The Immigrant . I worked with different coaches, one of whom
was the actress who plays my aunt in the film. Mid-shoot, James came to me,
startled, and said: “You sure have a lot of Polish dialogue!” He had just realized that
he had written me twenty pages of Polish dialogue. Whenever I had a free minute
on the set, I buried myself in my notebook. “I dreamed of it being perfect.”
James Gray and Joaquin Phoenix have made four movies together. How did you find your place?
I certainly got mixed up with an old couple! They’re both very generous and
endearing. Sometimes, when I saw that they were going to keep talking for five
hours, I’d tell them: “See you tomorrow! It sounds fascinating, but I have a kid and I
have to get home.” Their working relationship is wonderful to observe. And Joaquin
is an impressive actor. We met every day before the shoot started, to discuss our
characters. That’s when I met him for the first time. He has impeccable instincts,
like a wild animal. The character of Bruno was difficult for him, he struggled a
lot, and it was very moving to see him fighting with himself. Sometimes, at the
end of the scene, he would come up to me and ask me to forgive him for what
his character was doing to mine. I had never met someone quite as touching.

Here are a few others ladies who walked the red carpet…
Pictured: Olivia Palermo, Bianca Balti, Liliana Matthaeus, & Ana Girardot
Pictured: Alec Baldwin & wife Hilaria Baldwin, Zoe Saldana, Milla Jovovich, Marion Cotillard, Allison Williams
Not the best display of red carpet fashion, but maybe we’ve been spoiled by Doutzen Kroes from over the weekend?
Aaah, to be Alex Baldwin’s sugar baby wife Hilaria Thomas! She seriously went from Yoga instructor to one day hitting the damn lottery—all thanks to tight yoga pants & a horny Alec Baldwin! The couple officially married June 2012 & before tying the knot, Alec treated Hilaria to her very first Cannes Film Festival—maybe even her first trip to France, for all we know. HA. During their latest trip to the land of luxury, Hilaria is a few months pregnant and set to give birth sometime later this summer / fall. Sadly, we have a feeling it’s all downhill after that…
As for the other ladies in attendance: Definitely not a big fan of Milla Jovovich’s dress. As for Marion Cotillard, this woman will look cute & beautiful wearing pretty much anything.

Yes, there were other things to talk about from Cannes besides Eva Longoria’s upskirt wardrobe malfunction which continues to be the buzz of the internet. Jimmy P. might have gotten a boost in coverage but there are more films for you folks to pay attention to. Early in the weekend Carey Mulligan attended the photocall for Inside Llewyn Davis before hitting the premiere while Rooney Mara took to the premiere of Ain’t Them Bodies Saints.
