So Yeah, This Dude Is Getting A Piece Of Mena Suvari These Days

I always like these inspirational stories of regular looking dudes scoring hot celebrities b/c let’s face it, there’s a reason we hide behind a monitor making fun of people who’re rich & famous. Granted Mena’s past her prime, but she still showed a short stocky dude some love. Mena & her new boy-toy were spotted grabbing lunch at Planet Raw (probably not his first choice) in Santa Monica a couple days back (August 21).

Following “American Reunion” which hit theaters back in April, here’s a little about Mena’s upcoming projects:

Suvari will next appear in the romantic comedy film You May Not Kiss The Bride, which is directed by Rob Hedden and co-starring Vinnie Jones, Rob Schneider, and Katharine McPhee. Filming began in March 2009 in Hawaii.[8] She is set to star in the horror film Last Stop, playing the character Tracy. Source

Culver City: Ladies Who Attended 40th AFI Life Achievement Award

Last night in Culver City was the AFI Life Achievement Award honoring Shirley MacLaine held at Sony Pictures Studios. MacLaine was present the award by her younger brother Warren Beaty, who’d been awarded back in 2008. Other guests included former co-stars like Julia Roberts, Jack Nicholson, Jack Black, Sally Field, and Meryl Streep. Making her debut to the site is Claire Alys Julien(Claire Pfister), who appears in The Dark Knight Rises and next year’s The Bling Ring, starring Emma Watson.

The 40th recipient of the annual AFI honor, MacLaine received the best-actress Oscar for “Terms of Endearment” and was nominated four other times for such films as 1958’s “Some Came Running,” 1960’s “The Apartment” and 1977’s “The Turning Point.” [Source]

L.A.: Ladies Who Attended The “American Reunion” Premiere

The entire cast of American Reunion were on hand at the L.A. premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. As we’ve already plugged, the original cast were made to realize that they don’t have much going on so why not collect an easy paycheck and get together one last time in the American Pie series. Ultra Punk Avril Lavigne’s clothing line, Abbey Dawn (that’s still around??), is partnering up with JustFabulous for her latest collection. Not like anyone is really interestd but the collection is online but apparently the way JustFab works is that you have to become a member. With that, we will not speak anymore about Abbey Dawn or Ultra Punk Avril Lavigne but point out the Elle and Blair Fowler of EllenandBlair.com make their debut to site. Hitting up the Wiki, we found that they have an entry and so therefore are going the lazy route to give you more info on the two:

Melbourne: Mena Suvari & Tara Reid @ “American Reunion” World Premiere

Mena Suvari, Tara Reid, Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, Seann William Scott and Chris Klein were in Melbourne for the Australian World Premiere of American Reunion. Obviously stated, it’s a reunion movie of the original cast from the original American Pie movie from 1999. Sydney: Mena Suvari @ “American Reunion” Australian Media Event

Mena Suvari and the rest of the cast of American Reunion (yes, even Tara Reid) were in Sydney meeting with the press in promotion of the film. Basically they got the original cast back together since from the looks of it the majority of them do have a lot of free time.
