While she looked beautiful in her Gucci dress, I thought Blake would let her inner-fashionista run wild with the evening’s ‘PUNK: Chaos To Couture‘ theme, but obviously she’s too busy with married life these day to show the fashion world any love.

Met Costume Gala: Beyonce in Givenchy’s Diva Dress

In order to properly rock this dress, you need to meet extremely strict net worth requirements, as well have an ego the size of planet earth. Beyonce was apparently one of the last to arrive on the red carpet & she even had a dress slave who made sure the design on her train was properly visible for all photographers from all angles.

For those of you who don’t know much about Emilia, she’s a 26-year-old English actress who’s best known for portraying Daenerys Targaryen HBO series, Game of Thrones. I’m digging how she did her hair & accessorized with the oversized cross dangling from her ear, but with the right designer, Emilia could’ve really killed the whole punk theme. Stunning? Yes. Beautiful. Of course! But sadly, when look at this dress, “punk” and “chaos” aren’t the first words to come into mind.

Met Costume Gala – Kate Upton: “I didn’t understand the punk theme.”

Really? That’s the best you can do, Kate?

Considering Kate Upton lives in NYC, it’s very difficult to make excuses for why she didn’t hook up with a big name or even an up & coming designer to help punk-her-out for last night’s big Costume Institute Gala. We’re gonna assume she was just very flying around the world doing shoots for the 2014 S.I. Swimsuit Issue….

Met Costume Gala: Jennifer Lopez Wore Her Booty-Friendly Michael Kors Dress

She’s 43, has a net worth of $250 million, serves as a sugar-momma to her 25-year-old boy-toy, and most importantly looks nearly as hot as she did ten years ago…I think it’s safe to say that this woman has played her cards perfectly fine.

Jennifer Lopez great as she hit the red carpet at the annual Costume Institute Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Granted, punk isn’t the first word that comes to mind when you look at her, but if you think about it, she could’ve gone into diva mode a la Beyonce, but she chose to keep things tight, sexy & somewhat simple.

What’s up w/ these atrocious jumpsuits on young chicks with killer bodies? I don’t get it. I have to admit, I might feel differently about the outfit if it was more tightly fitted to Kristen’s body b/c the way she’s wearing it now, it looks like she might be pregnant. Needless to say, I expected better from Stella McCartney.
