For those of you who don’t know, Minka is set to play Jackie Kennedy in the upcoming film “The Butler,” alongside an A-list cast that includes Oprah, John Cusack, Forest Whitaker, Terrence Howard, Liam Neeson, Alex Pettyfer and Nicole Kidman. The film focuses on a White House butler who served eight American Presidents over the course of three decades. The film will hit theaters on August 16 & probably go on to contend for an Oscar.

The 2013 Costume Institute Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In celebration to the Met’s exhibition “PUNK: Chaos to Couture”, the event brings out a who’s who in the world of fashion with numbers of celebrities wearing one-of-a-king creations. The upcoming exhibition will feature punk’s influence on fashion including “original punk garments and recent, directional fashion to illustrate how haute couture and ready-to-wear borrow punk’s visual symbols.” The exhibition runs from May 9th through August 16th. Minka’s face gives a very strong “old-lady-face” vibe, but maybe that’s just me. Let’s face it, nobody’s perfect, aside from the minor cankles issue & now this, Minka’s still a Hollywood gem.

The campaign arranged a star-studded runway fashion show held at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC ahead of the Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week which kicks off tomorrow (Feb. 7-14) and naturally Minka looked absolutely amazing on & off the runway.
