We want to take a second to spotlight the Bastardly/MJ-oldtimer Leighton Meester! Wow, she’s back & she’s looking great! Here once again is the oft-linked “Leighton Meester vs Blake Lively: The Sexiest Legs Matchup” that we’ve featured countless times over the years when Leighton was flying high in TV land.
With the violent winds of ultra-sensitivity blowing these days, I have a feeling that pointing out cankles won’t go over well with a lot of people. Anyway, these were snapped yesterday afternoon as Minka Kelly was seen hitting up lunch in Los Angeles. The normally-stylish actress took it very easy as she was seen wearing a simple white t-shirt paired with purple leggings.

Here’s something we don’t see everyday! Minka Kelly was actually on the red carpet last night at the Discovery and The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) presentation of the documentary ‘Huntwatch’. The only other attendee that caught our eye was former ‘Glee’ actress Heather Morris. She’s looking great for a 29-year-old mother of two.
Here’s more about the documentary:
HUNTWATCH, narrated by actor Ryan Reynolds, recounts the compelling chronology of the fight to end the commercial seal hunt in Atlantic Canada. The film will air on September 22 on the Discovery Channel, immediately following a limited theatrical release, and will debut worldwide later this year.
Produced by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), HUNTWATCH highlights the tumultuous history that is the East Coast Canadian commercial seal hunt. Forty plus years of ongoing activism, that included filming the hunt with an unblinking eye, brought images of the bloody ice floes to people’s television sets and into their homes around the world. Garnering international headlines and sparking what some believe to be the start of the modern animal welfare movement, the hunt was almost brought to an end in the eighties. But trends in the fishing industry in many parts of the world, and the current demands for fur in the Far East have unfortunately reignited the battle.
HUNTWATCH premieres as part of DISCOVERY IMPACT, a series of trailblazing documentaries focusing on humankind’s impact on the environment and our wildlife and what individuals and communities can do to solve global problems. HUNTWATCH premieres Thursday, September 22 exclusively on Discovery Channel. Read more…
Watch the trailer the somewhat-chilling trailer for “Huntwatch” below:
Minka Kelly has officially come full circle in her dating life as it was recently revealed that she’s back to dating Wilmer Valderrama, who apparently has a thing for having makeup sex with former flings. The newly reunited couple were seen returning from a trip to Cabo together over the weekend.
We’d love to say they’re going to tie the knot & live happily ever after, but let’s face it, that type of thing only happens in the movies in Hollywood. This has to be a temporary thing when you consider both people in the relationship. Minka can’t seem to hold a steady man and Wilmer is playing his relationship cards flawlessly by choosing to forgo anything within inhaling distance of what you’d typically consider a long-term relationship.
Believe it or not, but walking and texting could soon be illegal in places like New Jersey, if laws up for vote get some love at the polls.
Violators would face fines of up to $50, 15 days imprisonment or both, which is the same penalty as jaywalking.
Lampitt said the measure is needed to dissuade and penalize “risky behavior.” She cited a National Safety Council report that shows distracted walking incidents involving cellphones accounted for an estimated 11,101 injuries from 2000 through 2011.
distracted walking incidents involving cellphones accounted for an estimated 11,101 injuries from 2000 through 2011.
The study found a majority of those injured were female and most were 40 or younger. Talking on the phone was the most prevalent activity at the time of injury, while texting accounted for 12%. Nearly 80% of the injuries occurred as the result of a fall, while 9% occurred from the pedestrian striking a motionless object. Mashable
As for the photos, they were snapped yesterday afternoon as Minka was spotted out grabbing lunch with a friend in West Hollywood.
Minka Kelly was working her seemingly boring style while out shopping in West Hollywood. The pair stopped to buy clothes at American Rag before heading home.
I have to admit, for somebody who’s famous for having short, stubby legs, it’s nice to see that Minka at least likes to spend time with friends who have nice pair of legs. Can you imagine what Minka would look like if she was wearing those short-shorts? Oh wait, there’s always photo shop…
Hey, if you know the cameras will be on you while you’re out & about, you might as well play the part & try a little harder in the style department.
Minka Kelly hid behind a pair of shades while wearing a patterned white top coupled with distressed jeans. The 35-year-old actress was spotted shopping at the Grove yesterday afternoon and pretended to talk on her phone the entire time the papz had their cameras pointed at her.
Apologies for the mini-hiatus we went on for the past few days, but we’re officially back in action. I meant to get these up yesterday, but ran into some issues.
The photos were snapped last Friday as Minka Kelly was seen out & about running errands in Los Angeles wearing a white dress. As we mentioned in a recent post, Minka scored a small role in the new Hulu series “The Path,” which stars Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. You can read more about it here.

Believe it or not, but Minka Kelly actually scored a role in the new Hulu series! Good for her!
“The Path,” which is a new series exclusively on Hulu, will star Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. According to IMDb, the series will focus centers on a “man who converts to a controversial following [and then] suffers from a crisis of faith.” Not exactly my cup of tea, but I’m sure it’ll find its niche audience.
