Miranda Kerr timed this photo shoot perfectly because not-so-coincidentally Victoria’s Secret just finished up their VS Swimwear shoots in St. Barts (Candice Swanepoel, Edita, Lily, and even the ageless Adrian Lima showed face). The beautiful supermodel mommy was on the set of her shoot for her new makeup line in Miami Beach earlier this afternoon & looked more beautiful than she ever did on any Victoria’s Secret shoot. I have a feeling this new makeup line is going to make a killing for Miranda, especially considering the fact that she’s a marketing genius when it comes to making the promotional rounds through various media outlets…

So wait, Bongo also sells undergarments? Is it just me or does Miranda Kerr look super young in these photos? Or maybe the ads are just over-Photoshopped—assuming they’re even real?

Also, when you hit Bongo.com, all you see are photos of Lucy Hale, so if in fact these photos are the real deal, the marketing guys at Bongo seriously upgraded their game by hiring Miranda Kerr. I searched around the company’s website for undies, but nothing turned up. We’re going to have to assume these are fake or Miranda Kerr is the face of Bongo’s upcoming underwear collection.

The theme for the annual Costume Institute Gala at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art was ‘PUNK: Chaos to Couture‘. Miranda Kerr, as expected, looked absolutely amazing on the red carpet, but I think she could’ve done wilder things with her hair and possibly accessorized with some metal (preferably spiked). I’d say she’s inching more toward a goth look than straight punk. She’s too clean to be punk, in my opinion. Regardless of what the 30-year-old supermodel mommy looks like, she was definitely one of the most beautiful women to walk the red carpet—again, as expected.

The always beautiful & consistently stylish supermodel mommy was seen catwalking her way into LAX in order to catch a flight out. I have a feeling she’s headed to NYC to take care of some biz. Or who knows, maybe she’s headed back to her base #2 in Sydney?

With Candice out in NYC doing shoot after shoot all of last week, I wouldn’t be surprised if Miranda decides to join the party in order to make a very public reconciliation with her former nearly-full-time employer, Victoria’s Secret. This is the same company that tried to throw Miranda under the bus about a month ago saying she didn’t sell well in stores & that she’s a very difficult person to work with. Of course, following some backlash, VS took it all back saying they completely disagree with the rumored statements, but we all know what’s up. It’s just another example of suits in the big city trying to trample over the hot little model who refuses to sign on the dotted line and agree to some shitty terms. Props to Miranda for staying strong & keeping her head up high through the entire ordeal.

Deep pockets at Qantas threw a star-studded gala dinner at the Qantas Jetbase in Sydney earlier today (it’s already 3AM, April 19 over there). Attendees included also included John Travolta, as well as some Aussie elites (Ronan Keating, Kate Ceberano and Tina Arena). If some of you guys don’t know, John Travolta is a big shot when it comes to flying jumbo jets & he has done campaigns for Qantas in the past.

We finally learned Miranda’s side of the story yesterday when she basically gave VS the finger telling them she won’t sign on until they screw the 3-month requirement stipulation from their contract. VS makes a ton of money & I feel like they’ll let this relationship fizzle out simply because at the end of the day, these chicks are just an expense for them. If they can get an equally beautiful model at a quarter of the price, why not?

Here’s some video footage from the Qantas runway show earlier in the week. Miranda showcased the new bold new look by designer Martin Grant.

Miranda Kerr Confirms Victoria’s Secret Departure

Miranda Kerr was seen heading to a nail salon in Hollywood. So after last week’s drama of whether she was fired, staying, or choosing to leave Victoria’s Secret, we can put this to bed because Miranda has confirmed that she is leaving. Basically she says that she’s re-prioritizing her focuses and given her deals with Qantas, Mango, David Jones, her own Kora Organics line, and of course, mom duties to Flynn, she justifies not being able to provide the full committment to being a VS Angel.

“The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13,” Kerr tells the paper. “I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

“I’ve reached a point in my career where I’m developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions,” she says, adding that she is too busy to make major commitments — like Victoria’s Secret contracts. “I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It’s three months at a bare minimum.” [Source]
