Last night at Laurel Hardware, ladies showed up for the W Magazine and GUESS Celebrate 30 Years Of Fashion and Film and The Next Generation of Style Icons. There were a lot more attendees that didn’t make this post and really we’re not sure who was honored or if anyone won anything but W Magazine and GUESS decided what better way to spend a Tuesday night then to have a party, right? Anyways, let’s just get to the poll…

The NOH8 Celebrity Studded 4th Anniversary Party was held at Avalon in Hollywood. So the internet buzz from the event will be LeAnn Rimes’ wardrobe malfunction so we’re here to give some props to the other attendees. As stated by their Mission Statement: The NOH8 Campaign is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest. For more information how you can get involved, visit the NOH8 Campaign website.
In addition to the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party, Variety and Women in Film had their Pre-Emmy Event Presented By Saint Vintage held at Montage in Beverly Hills. So there really isn’t much else different we can write since all these events are related to the Emmys so we’ll just do our same plug stating… that the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air tonight with coverage starting at 7pm ET on ABC with live red carpet coverage. For more info and a list of all the nominees, visit Emmy.tv. And now, onto the poll.
So the People StyleWatch Denim Party took place last night at Palihouse in Santa Monica. It was really just an excuse to have a party to get people into the weekend but we really don’t know the exact reasoning for such an event. Anyways, it was attended by a bunch of ladies and so therefore we’ve got a post and poll for you vote. I guess we should give a plug to People StyleWatch, the hsots of the event.
The Possession is the upcoming horror film starring Natasha Calis, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matisyahu and Kyra Sedgwick. The story is based on the allegedly haunted Dybbuk box. Look for it in theaters on August 31st. For more info, visit The Possession official website.
After purchasing an old box with a Hebrew inscription engraved on it at a yard sale, a young girl, Em (Natasha Calis), is obsessed with opening it, although her father says it appears to have been designed not to open. Em begins to exhibit bizarre and violent behavior. Since her parents recently divorced, her initial actions go without much notice, but Em’s behavior soon becomes more and more extreme. Fearing for their daughter, Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Kyra Sedgwick) make various attempts – from brain scans to consulting rabbis – to discover what the supernatural force behind the box is, what it wants, and how to keep it from destroying Em.
