I gotta hand it to all those parents, celebrities inclusive, who go out of their way to maintain a cordial relationship with their ex-spouses. It’s probably not the easiest thing on their respective to-do lists, but at the same time, things could easily be far worse. The former couple reunited as a family at Sunlife Organics in Malibu to grab some healthy smoothies and snacks (I think it’s safe to assume that this was Miranda’s idea).
The 32-year-old Australian beauty & former Victoria’s Secret model was recently linked to 25-year-old billionaire Snapchat founder & CEO Evan Spiegel. The dude is reportedly worth upwards of $2.1 billion, but the age difference is definitely a cause for concern when you consider their long-term prospects. I really want to feel differently about the relationship, but she might just be the guy’s trophy girlfriend.
Woah, I’ll be honest, I was kind of surprised to learn that it’s already that time of year when we get another Peter Jackson ‘Lord of the Rings’ film. ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ is the third and final installment in the three-part film adaptation based on ‘The Hobbit’ by J. R. R. Tolkien, so wonder what Peter Jackson will cook up next!?
Anyway, here’s more about the latest film:
By entering the Lonely Mountain, Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, and his fellow Dwarves have roused the dragon Smaug who in his anger flies out to destroy Lake Town. In the meantime, the wizard Gandalf has identified the evil Necromancer as Sauron who has returned to Middle-earth and ordered countless Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. (Sources)

Not bad…Not bad at all! With his tragic separation from Miranda Kerr still burning inside of him (we’re going to assume that’s the case), it’s going to take a lot of work to get this guy to have a little fun again. Who knows, maybe an innocent-looking Japanese chick like Nozomi Sasaki knows a few new tricks? He was previously linked to Selena Gomez of all people, so Nozomi is a far better catch, in our opinion. Giving off a pedophile vibe on the red carpet is never a good thing.
Orlando is currently in Tokyo, Japan doing some promotional work for the film ‘Zulu’, which released last year. Not sure about you guys, but I completely missed this movie. The film also stars Forest Whitaker and was selected as the closing film at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Here’s the plot and trailer:
The policemen Ali Sokhela and Brian Epkeen investigate a massacre which apparently took place because a new illegal substance became recently available. The film is based on Project Coast, the program for biological and chemical weapons of the South African apartheid regime. Source
Many congrats to Orlando Bloom for his third biggest score of his career—this following Miranda Kerr (#1) and ‘Lord of the Rings’ (#2). It’s not easy being this young & bagging a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but did Orlando eat up the honor way too early in his career? Then again, after wifing/divorcing Miranda Kerr and having acted in a Hollywood blockbuster, I’m not surprised that complacency is settling into Orlando’s life. Let’s hope he puts his head down and chugs along to greater heights!
And, it’s no joke that Miranda & Orlando ended on good terms seeing how he took a second to thank her in his speech. After thanking big players in his career like director Peter Jackson, key members of his inner circle, as well as family members, Orlando gave a shout-out to his ex, thanking “Miranda, for giving me the greatest gift of all — my son.”
“You know, I love you all and thank you for everything,” he said.
For somebody who was rarely spotted out & about with his son, we feel like actor Orlando Bloom more than made up for his absence during the second half of the year. Now that he’s going through a ‘friends with benefits’-style separation with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, I’m sure his bond with Flynn will grow even stronger. Many congrats to Orlando for the big honor!
The 36-year-old actor, who’s one of the stars of the new ‘Hobbit’ film out in theaters this holiday season, was spotted carrying around Flynn on his shoulders (Miranda & Orlando don’t believe in strollers) while cruising around the city yesterday afternoon. And yes, they’re in NYC, where the weather over the weekend was in the frickin’ 60! WTF is going on?!
It sucks that these two broke up, but hey, now there’s a 0.00000000000000000000000001% chance that one of us bastards will hook up with Miranda Kerr! OW! Having said that, for Flynn’s sake, I hope Orlando & Miranda patch things up & get back together. Come on, Orlando! Bust out some of that Rome & Juliet shit!! Chop-Chop!
Both Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly were all smiles as they appeared on the red carpet together last night for glitzy ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ premiere held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. These two will probably travel to numerous other cities around the globe for premieres before the film goes into wide-release on December 13. Check the film’s official website for more photos & trailers.
The hobbit Bilbo Baggins, along with the wizard Gandalf and the dwarf Thorin Oakenshield and his twelve companions, leave the Carrock after the events of the previous film. They continue east to the edge of the forest of Mirkwood where they encounter the skin-changer Beorn. Gandalf departs before the others enter Mirkwood where they are attacked by giant spiders and, except for Bilbo, are captured by Wood-elves. Bilbo helps the dwarves escape from the elves and they follow the forest river to Lake-town, where they meet the Master of the town, and Bard, a bowman and the descendant of the original Lord of Dale. After acquiring a boat and supplies from the town, the company travels to the Lonely Mountain. They eventually find the hidden door into the mountain and Bilbo enters and encounters the dragon Smaug. Orlando Bloom could be texting while walking around with Flynn on his shoulders, so it could be much worse. Regardless, I’m sure Miranda Kerr won’t exactly be the most thrilled mom when she sees these pics. These were snapped earlier today as the father-son duo were spotted cruising around in downtown, NYC.
While out with Flynn yesterday in NYC, Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr kissed each other on the cheek. Normally this wouldn’t be news, but the couple announced last week that they’re separated, albeit on good terms. When you hear about couples getting separated, the last thing you expect to see them to do is exchange kisses, regardless of how innocent & harmless. We expect cold looks, sad faces, a slap on the face, a middle finger, etc, etc.—anything but kisses!
Maybe this is how separation works in Australia? It’s also possible they’re putting on a “See Flynn, mommy & daddy don’t hate each other” show, but I feel like if they really wanted to put on a show for their son, they could’ve done it privately. Having said that, I have a feeling it’s more to prove to the media that they’re still friends (possibly with benefits).
Regardless of how this works out, the clear winner in this “relationship” is Orlando Bloom. It appears he still has one finger in the Miranda Kerr cookie jar, while at the same time enjoying the fruits of a single movie star dad.
Just days after officially announcing their separation, Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr were spotted out in NYC with their son Flynn. From what we can tell, both appeared very comfortable with the cameras, with one photo even showing Orlando with his hand on Miranda’s shoulder. Very interesting.
So, what’s up? Are these two together or not? Did they just get bored of having sex with each other or was it something bigger? It’s possible that in these latest photos, they’re playing along with their mom-dad roles while in the presence of their son Flynn, in which case we gotta give both Orlando & Miranda a lot of credit. It’s really funny because on the surface this looks like the ideal celebrity family, but when you scratch the surface, it’s not so rosy. I guess you can say the same about most relationships—celebrity or not.
