Photos snapped just last week at the Somerset House (April 3).
How sad. Sure she’s no Amy Winehouse, but she’s still a member of that same seemingly privileged class, who on surface look like they have the perfect life, but obviously, that’s far from the case.
As of this writing, the latest police statement leaves an air of mystery around the death: “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden.” We’re gonna assume it was drug related, but even that seems somewhat unlikely when you considering the fact that she was supposed to be happily married with two very young sons, Astala Dylan Willow (born 21 April 2012) and Phaedra Bloom Forever (born 24 April 2013).
The only thing supporting the drug and possibly suicide theory would be the fact that just yesterday Peaches posted a pic of herself with her late mom Paula Yates who died of a drug overdose back in 2000. The photo was accompanied by the simple, yet creepy, note, “Me and my mum.”
The statement released by her musician hubby Thomas Cohen reads, “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra, and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever.”
Statement by her father Bob Geldof: “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us,” he said. “Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
We didn’t cover Peaches Geldof much, but all the best family, especially those two sons!
