Dead Man Down and Fabolous Present the Revenge Remix Contest

We’ve all been there. Played by your girl, dissed by your dudes, bullied by your boss, you name it. We’ve all been dissed pretty hard at some point, and we’ve all been left with a thirst for revenge. Well, now is your chance to get the ultimate vengeance with a little help from Fabolous.

As part of the Revenge Remix Contest, you tell us your most revenge-worthy story and we just might reward you with having Fabolous turn your tale of betrayal into the ultimate diss track on his Revenge Remix. You could also win a trip to watch Fab drop the track—your track—live and in person. Haters best be on notice.

The Ultimate Diss Contest is presented by Dead Man Down, a film by Niels Arden Oplev that offers a new spin on the classic theme of revenge. The movie opens March 8th, and stars Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper, and Terrence Howard.

Calling all artists! The heist is on. I just know someone in our community can win this thing!! LET’S DO THIS, BABY!!

In honor of the upcoming film Parker, starring Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez, Complex is launching a contest to see who can design the best piece of artwork that evokes the spirit of the film. From now until November 30th, you can submit your Parker-inspired artwork to the Art of the Heist contest for a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles and watch as your piece is displayed on a mural for all of Hollywood to see.

PROMO: The 10 Best Performances by Actors Sharing a Role

They say good casting is 90% of a film’s potential success. Finding the right actor for the role is always a challenge, but what about when more than one actor is going to inhabit the same part—be it at a different age, with a different face, or in a somewhat altered reality? Here is a look at 10 films that feature the same role played handily by different actors. One more we might mention is the upcoming Looper, opening September 28, in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis inhabit the same skin. Consider this your role-sharing primer.

Let’s kick off the list w/ 10th best performance…

Bud Light Platinum Lifestyle Presents Club Style: Fall Shoes

The Wingtip
No longer reserved for old geezers or funeral directors, the wingtip is a core staple for the guy looking to exude a little bit of class. From brown Windsor lace-ups to solid black with steel toecaps, there is a wide range of options that run from classic to the downright futuristic.

LoafersPhoto Credit: Complex; Loafers
Thanks to the less-than-awesome guys who sometimes rock them, loafers are a little controversial. But they can be quite elegant when they’re in the hands of the right designers. Penny loafers have made a resurgence (though the pennies tucked into the shoe sleeve thankfully haven’t), in certain cases as hybrids (i.e. part loafer, part boot), and with fastening options ranging from laces to monk straps.

BootsPhoto Credit: Billy Ried; Boots
From cowboy to heavy work, and everything in between, of-the-moment designers offer boot options for any ensemble. If you’re planning on getting down, however, try and make sure you’re not hauling around 10 pounds on each foot. Might make things tricky.

Yes, slippers. But we’re not talking about that ratty cotton blend pair your mom bought you for Christmas that you wear around the house in your sweats. We’re talking about the numerous upscale models from top designers, constructed from materials ranging from shearling to velvet to suede, with prints varying from camouflage to leopard. The ultimate in style with comfort.

L.A.: Lil Wayne x Beats by Dr Dre VMA Afterparty @ Playhouse

For those of you bastards who caught the 2012 MTV VMAs, you might have noticed the Lil Wayne rocking bright red Beats By Dre headphones while chilling in the front row next to Drake & Nicki Minaj. Those babies are from his new Beats Pro line and in celebration of the new partnership, Weezy & Beats Electronics took over the Playhouse Nightclub in L.A. following the VMAs. The party included a selection of A-list guests including Wiz Khalifa, Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and LMFO. Oh yeah, there was also the sexy 31-year-old actress Janina Gavankar (most recently on HBO’s “True Blood”; see her Wiki for more).

If that wasn’t enough, Weezy took the stage at around 1AM to bust out a few beats to a somewhat tipsy crowd thanks to the fully stacked open bar. He absolutely killed it on stage at the VMAs even though every other word was censored, so we’re sure he killed it on stage at Playhouse. Why invite a guy to sing on stage when you’re bleep ever other word?! I never understood that one.
