In addition to our earlier set featuring leggy red carpet pics of Kristen Stewart, here are more photos from last night’s big ‘American Ultra’ premiere held at the Ace Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Kristen’s former ‘Twilight’ co-star Taylor Lautner showed his support & made a promo appearance alongside Kristen. And, judging by the look on Jessie Eisenberg’s face, we’re going to assume that his agent forced him do the walk of shame with an appearance on the red carpet.
Everyone’s a little surprised that an actor of Jessie’s caliber would A) do a film about smoking weed all day & B) do a film about smoking weed alongside Kristen Stewart, of all people. Either Kristen promised him a threesome with her latest lesbian partner or Jessie lost a bet with some Hollywood bigwig. We’re going to assume it’s the latter.
Jessica Hart wore a dress by Rachel Roy and was accompanied by her to the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards. As for the show, Hillary Clinton presented Oscar de la Renta with his Founder’s Award while Vera Wang received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Winners from the “Oscars of fashion” included Thom Browne for Menswear Designer of the Year, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler for Womenswear Designers of the Year and Philip Lim for Accessories Designer of the Year. Produced by & starring the one & only Brad Pitt, “Killing Them Softly” is the latest film by director Andrew Dominik. The film, which already has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, is based on the 1974 novel “Cogan’s Trade” by George V. Higgins. It will hit theaters starting Friday, so make sure you bastards don’t miss this bad boy! Definitely sounds like a winner.
Besides Brad Pitt, the deep cast also features Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Ray Liotta, and Richard Jenkins. The story revolves around a “professional enforcer Jackie Cogan (Pitt), who investigates a heist that occurs during a high-stakes, mob-protected poker game.” (Wiki)
Directly below is some red carpet footage of Brad Pitt workin’ the crowds at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this spring where the film first premiered. Director Andrew Dominik & Ray Liotta also get interviewed in the same clip.
