Damn, The Rock looks like he’s going to kill one of the photographers or maybe that’s just his tough-guy pose that he’s been perfecting for the red carpet? Whatever the case, he’s playing his role perfectly. As for Adrianne Palicki, she was dressed in a beautiful gown that successfully kept attention off her face & on her rack. Maybe it’s just me, but there’s something about that smile & face that throws things off.

Following its premiere in Sydney last week, the red carpet promo tour for “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” moved to London’s Empire Cinema last night. The $185-million CGI fuckfest goes into wide-release in the U.S. at the end of the month on March 28, so if you’re looking for a painfully bad acting coupled with amazing action sequences, don’t miss this badboy!

Here’s more about the film:

After the G.I. Joes are framed as traitors by Zartan, who is still impersonating the President of the United States, the Cobra Commander now has all the world leaders under Cobra’s control, with their advanced warheads aimed at innocent populaces around the world. Outnumbered and out gunned, the Joes form a plan with the original G.I. Joe General Joseph Colton to overthrow the Cobra Commander and his allies Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly.[Source]

Neither Lucy Pinder nor Rebecca Ferdinando appear in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey but Cate Blanchett stars as Galadriel, an elf and co-ruler of Lothlórien along with her husband, Lord Celeborn. As you might already know the film is the first in a series of three films directed, co-written and produced by Peter Jackson and based on J. R. R. Tolkien’s novel “The Hobbit”. The film is set to open in theaters on December 14th. For more info, visit The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey official website.

Yup, another day, another international premiere for Total Recall. This time the stars were in London, attending the premiere held at Vue Leicester Square. Compared to previous premieres, I personally felt Jessica Biel killed it at this event—maybe even out did the Red Carpet Jedi Master, Kate Beckinsale. Since we’re lazy we’re going to copy and paste the same vital info again from Kate and Jessica’s post from Berlin:

Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel stars in this reboot of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1990 film Total Recall. However, this time there’s no trip to Mars but nonetheless it’s still based on the 1966 short story “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick. In this version Colin Farrell stars as Douglas Quaid, Kate Beckinsale as Lori Quaid, and Jessica Biel as Melina. Visit the Total Recall official website for more info, tickets and showtimes.

In a futuristic setting of 2084, after being devastated by World War III, Earth is divided into two superpowers, Euroamerica/Western Hemisphere and New Shanghai/Eastern Hemisphere, who are locked in a battle for supremacy to unify the world. In this world lives Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell), a factory worker suffering from violent nightmares. Dissatisfied with lowly existence, Quaid visits Rekall, a corporation that provides its clients with implanted artificial memories of the lives they would like to have. [Wiki]

Oh yeah, there were a few D-List UK stars on hand for the premiere…

Another day means another premiere for The Dark Knight returns leading up to its US release in theaters on July 20th. Yesterday it was the European premiere at the Odeon West End in London. Here goes the same spiel:

The Dark Knight Rises is the next of this summer’s Hollywood blockbusters set for release. With an estimated budget of $250 million, there are high expectations for The Dark Knight, the final installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Once again, Christian Bale stars as Batman with Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman reprising their roles. The Dark Knight introduces Selina Kyle (Catwoman) and Bane, played by Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. Look for it in theaters on July 20th (July 19th in Australia and New Zealand). Red Carpet Ladies @ “Cowboys & Aliens” Premiere in London

We probably could’ve stopped with just Olivia Wilde’s post for coverage on the Cowboys and Aliens premiere in London but since these ladies are considered celebrities (an assumption) in the UK, we figured to give them some face time too. Well, none of them have anything to do with the movie so we might as well just recycle what we’ve written already about the movie to give it some publicity:

Cowboys & Aliens is a science fiction Western film starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde; based on the graphic novel of the same name with an estimated production budget of $100 million. For those of you living under a rock, the film is currently out in theaters. For more information visit the Cowboys & Aliens official website.

In 1873 Arizona, a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakens with no memory of his past and a mysterious shackle around his wrist. He enters the town of Absolution where he learns that he is a notorious criminal wanted by many people, including Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), who rules the town with an iron fist. Absolution soon faces an even greater threat when alien spaceships attack the town. While his shackle holds the key to defeating the aliens, Lonergan must ally with Dolarhyde and other former enemies to make a stand against them. [Wiki]
