The 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards was held at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE. The Primetime Emmys are still weeks away but the Creative Arts celebrates achievement in recognition of technical and other similar achievements in American television programming. Orange is the New Black took home three awards while other winners included Allison Janney, Jimmy Fallon and Joe Morton. The 2014 Billboard Music Awards were held at the MGM Grand Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Hosted by Ludacris, the show featured many performances including Shakira, Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX, Jennifer Lopez, One Republic and John Legend, to name a few. Also was a hologram performance by Michael Jackson of his latest single “Slave to The Rhythm”. Justin Timberlake was the big winner taking home 7 of his 11 nominations. Other winners included Imagine Dragons, Lorde and Katy Perry, to name a few. Also, Jennifer Lopez received the Icon Award. The unite4:good and Variety’s unite4:humanity Gala was held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. Amongst those honored at the event were both Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato; Selena presented the Young Visionary Award while Demi was presented the Young Luminary Award. The HBO Golden Globe Awards 2014 After Party was held at Circa 55 in Beverly Hills. Celebrities attended the 2014 G’DAY USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala to honor Australians Geoffrey Rush, Jacki Weaver and chef Curtis Stone at JW Marriot at LA Live. Geoffrey Rush was presented the Excellence in the Arts Award, Jacki Weaver received the Excellence in Film Award, and chef Curtis Stone received the first Excellence in the Culinary Arts Award. Extra TV has taken to filming live at Universal Studios and yesterday Maria Menounos interviewed Jessica Alba to promote her new film A.C.O.D. which Renee Bargh was on assignment to interview Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan. However, we’re not here to talk about that but give credit to the photograhers who purposely take shots of these fine ladies from behind. Generosity Water’s 5th Annual Night Of Generosity Benefit was held at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Hosted by Jason Kennedy and Catt Stadler, the organization’s goal is to bring clean water to to every community within developing countries. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were the night’s special presenters along with performances by JoJo, Mariah McManus, Marielle Jaffe, and Anthony Evans Jr. The target goal was to raise $400,000 after having raised $150,000 at last year’s Night of Generosity.
