Believe it or not, but Rosario Dawson is only 34, although when you see her in this particular outfit, she looks like she’s pushing late-40s. We know you can do you better, Rosario! It’s a pity when really sexy women choose to drag down their sex appeal by wearing something so painfully unflattering.
These were snapped last night at the NYC screening of ‘Cesar Chavez’. The film is co-produced and directed by Mexican actor Diego Luna about the life of American labor leader César Chávez, who cofounded the United Farm Workers. Here’s more about the film:
The film follows Chávez’s efforts to organize 50,000 farm workers in California, many of whom were braceros—temporary workers from Mexico permitted to live and work in the United States in agriculture, and required to return to Mexico if they stopped working. Working conditions are very poor for the braceros, who also suffer from racism and brutality at the hands of the employers and local Californians. To help the workers, Mexican American César Chávez (Michael Peña) forms a labor union known as the United Farm Workers (UFW). Chávez’s efforts are opposed, sometimes violently, by the owners of the large industrial farms where the braceros work. The film touches on several major nonviolent campaigns by the UFW: the Delano grape strike, the Salad Bowl strike, and the 1975 Modesto march. Source

Just in case you missed Eva Longoria’s wardrobe malfunction from over the weekend, check those here.
What’s up with these ladies wearing designer gowns with dangerously high slits & then walking around as if they’re rocking jeans? I don’t get it. We’re gonna have to assume it’s a new promotional tactic on the red carpet, so no complaints here. OW!
These were snapped last night at the red carpet premiere of the Japanese thriller ‘Shield of Straw’ by director Takashi Miike as part of the 66th Cannes Film Festival.

I guess 33-year-old Rosario Dawson & 56-year-old “Trance” director & producer Danny Boyle saved their breakup news for the film’s official premiere. Not a bad idea considering it helps build a little extra buzz and gets people talking about the film. The two started dating after Rosario scored a role in “Trance,” so I guess these two were simply on-set fuck-buddies during the film’s production. How convenient.
Rosario’s co-stars in “Trance” include James McAvoy and Vincent Cassel. Here’s some plot action:
Simon (James McAvoy), a fine art auctioneer, teams up with a criminal gang to steal a Goya painting worth millions of dollars, but after suffering a blow to the head during the heist he awakens to discover he has no memory of where he hid the painting. When physical threats and torture fail to produce answers, the gang’s leader Frank (Vincent Cassel) hires hypnotherapist Elizabeth Lamb (Rosario Dawson) to delve into the darkest recesses of Simon’s psyche. As Elizabeth begins to unravel Simon’s broken subconscious, the lines between truth, suggestion, and deceit begin to blur.

With the crazy flood of Oscar pics, we didn’t get to these babies in time. These were snapped over the weekend (Saturday, Feb. 23) at the pre-Oscar charity brunch thrown by Montblanc and UNICEF to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Signature For Good 2013′ Initiative at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.
