The big two-hour premiere of “Smash” is tonight at 9/8c on NBC, so make sure you tune in if you’re into that kind of stuff. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about “Smash,” but I did start watching the “House of Lies” on Showtime a couple days ago. I’m diggin’ it, but the show is moving along real slow, but all the nudity makes waiting around a little easier, I guess.

Damn, Russell Brand really tried his best to get into Katharine McPhee’s panties b/c he supposedly didn’t know she was “happily” married. I gotta admit, the clip is pretty dman funny. Check it below:

Anybody got a good name for it, by chance?

It appears ever since his divorce, he’s on some sort of spiritual journey. Let’s hope he’s not being conned into blowing a ton of cash on overpriced Yoga-related paraphernalia (beads, clothing, slippers, hair bands, oils, soaps, etc). Considering he’s on this journey while living in Los Angeles, I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes bankrupt before this journey ends. Having said that, Ryan Seacrest needs to score a reality TV deal w/ this dude b/c needless to say, his life looks freaky enough to be interesting—at least more interesting than Kim Kardashian & Co..

Russell Brand is known for many things: his comedy, his offbeat sense of humor, his musical stylings, and, yes, his short-lived marriage to one Ms. Katy Perry. But add another bullet point to Brand’s resume: drinker of green slushy things! He was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday where he seemed to be sipping on a (gulp) celery and cilantro smoothie (or something quite like it). He’s already skinny enough, so he can’t be doing it for weight loss. Perhaps it’s his post-Katy cleanse diet?

In the midst of the Oscar photo tsunami, we almost overlooked these pics of comedian Russell Brand walking around with his new girlfriend, Mexican painter Oriela Medellin Amieiro, in West Hollywood over the weekend. According to her LinkedIn profile, Oriela’s resume includes stints at Parsons School of Design, NY Film Academy & Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She also interned at BCBG Max Azria & clothing company BeBe. I think it’s safe to say that this chick seems a little more interesting than his somewhat annoying ex-wife Katy Perry. If anything did go down, we’re gonna have to assume this was a major downgrade for Russell Brand following his year-long stint with annoying singer Katy Perry. Russell beat Katy to the chase & filed for divorce. This photo was Tweeted by actress Juliette Lewis last night after being spotted at some bar in London.

Katy Perry & Russell Brand Had A Holiday Fight; Divorce Coming Soon…

Following lots of holiday speculation as to why Katy Perry & Russel Brand were spending the holidays apart from each other, news is finally leaking that things are kinda rough in the Perry-Brand household. Long story short, Katy & Russell had a big fight right before the holidays and all plans for Katy to spend Christmas in London with Russell’s family fell through. Katy was spotted in Hawaii w/ friends (without her wedding ring) and Russell was hitting up a bar in London.

One of their bastardly snitch-friends (probably Katy’s) sold some gossip to Us Weekly by stating: “They had a massive fight. She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.’ “They haven’t split up just yet, but things are not good. The fighting is getting worse.”

As an aside and not surprisingly, the source also stated that Russell apparently has no respect for Katy’s parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends. Now, why would a former crack & sex addict w/ no apparent belief system suddenly change his ways in the name of love? That’s bullshit. Russell Brand only wanted to motorboat Katy Perry & she wouldn’t allow it until they tied the knot. I give news about their inevitable divorce until the spring, at the latest.

Sadly, I have yet to watch “Arthur,” so hopefully some of you bastards can chime in with a few meaningful reviews.

The London premiere of the film went down earlier today at the O2 Arena & surprisingly Katy Perry took time out of her busy touring schedule to join her husband Russell Brand on the red carpet.

I listened to Russell’s interview w/ Piers Morgan ahead of the film’s release in the U.S. & it appears he finally has his head on straight & really wants shit to work w/ Katy. As much as I wanna say he’ll succeed, unfortunately I have a feeling that he won’t be able to handle the various stresses that come with married life. The first few months or even a year are great, but let’s see what happens a lil’ further down the road when the path is no longer sprinkled with heavenly-scented rose petals, but rather exploding thorns that burst into 10,000 microscopic thorns that go straight for the heart. Hows that for optimism? If he doesn’t go back to crack or booze after one of those arguments, then Alcoholics Anonymous truly does work!
