Salma Hayek Has Fun During The ‘Sausage Party’ Premiere in L.A.

I have a feeling this will be yet another financial home run for Seth Rogen & his writing buddy Evan Goldberg. After popping out classics like 2007’s “Superbad” and “Pineapple Express,” their latest film “Sausage Party” is an R-rated animated feature for adults! Pretty insane idea and that’s probably why it took Seth & Evan around eight years to get the proper funding to help back the film.

They obviously got a lot of cash pushing it when you consider all the big names on their ensemble voice cast list—a list that includes Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton and Salma Hayek.

More about the film:

In a supermarket named “Shopwell’s”, various groceries all dream of one thing: to be chosen by a customer and taken to their home. But soon enough, they learn the horrible truth about what happens to food when put into human hands. A hot dog sausage named Frank, and his friends, vow to warn his friends at Shopwell’s of their terrifying future, and in the process, wages war with the human race. Source

Celebrities attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino presented by Gucci. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening was the presence of British pop star Boy George and Culture Club, who entertained the guests with a set of four numbers, including ’80s favorites “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.” As with past Art + Film galas, Saturday’s event coincided with a new film-themed exhibition at LACMA. “Haunted Screens: German Cinema in the 1920s,” running through April, focuses on the German Expressionist cinema of filmmakers like Fritz Lang and F.W. Murnau.

DAMN YOU, PIERCE BROSNAN!! Dude Scores Kissing Scenes With Salma Hayek AND Jessica Alba in Upcoming Film!

Salma Hayek and Pierce Brosnan romantic kissing scene

Looks like Pierce Brosnan is choosing his films very carefully these days as he enjoys the latest phase of his long acting career. The 60-year-old Irishman became the fifth actor to portray secret agent James Bond when he starred in a total of four ‘Bond’ flicks from ’95 to ’02. After spending those years making out with beautiful women on the big screen, Pierce Brosnan shows that he still has it as he was seen on the set of his latest film “How To make Love Like An Englishman” enjoying long romantic kisses with Salma Hayek & Jessica Alba!

He apparently took 10 takes to get the kissing scene with Jessica Alba just right, so I guess that’s one of juicy perks of acting alongside a sub par, yet still very sexy, actress like Jessica. As for Salma, the duo were seen in Malibu sipping away on a glass of wine efore their big kissing scene that went down during the sunset. We’re pretty sure this scene was at least five takes.

The film revolves around “a Cambridge poetry professor who begins to re-evaluate his life of Byronic excess” (IMDb) and stars Pierce Brosnan, Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Malcolm McDowell & Ben McKenzie. Look for it in theaters sometime next spring.

Presented by Gucci, The LACMA 2013 Art and Film Gala honoring David Hockney and Martin Scorsese took place in Los Angeles over the weekend. The gala included a musical performance by Sting and now in its third year continues to be co-chaired by LACMA Trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio. The event also celebrated a collaboration between The Film Foundation, founded by Martin Scorsese, and LACMA and the Annenberg Foundation, to preserve four films by French filmmaker Agnès Varda. Gucci once again demonstrates its support of the museum as presenting sponsor of the Art+Film Gala, with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini as Gala Host Committee Chair.
