Myspace had a re-launch event last night at The El Rey Theater in Los Angeles where they went out and invited as many young celebrities as they could to get the word out that they’re still around. With an estimated $20 million ad campaign budget, you’ll be viewing their first commercials to promote the public launch of the new and significantly redesigned Myspace, now under new management. Look for their ads on television, radio, and digital. Hit up Myspace and click that Forgot password link to see if you’re old account still exists, hopefully you still have that old email account that was linked to your Myspace account too. Looks like somebody snuck out of the house while her mom was busy making dinner in the kitchen! The beautiful Nickelodeon starlet Victoria Justice was seen at LoveGold’s celebration of jeweler Fred Leighton cocktail party last night held at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. It’s a pity Harmony Korine couldn’t convince Victoria’s parents to let their daughter star in his upcoming “Spring Breakers” film. I’m sure it would’ve done wonders for her career as she slowly gets ready to transition from kiddy roles to older roles. If Victoria waits too long, she’ll miss the train & then will have to resort to extreme measures down the road (i.e. risque photos on FB & Twitter, leaked nude pics from cell phone or God forbid, a sex tape), so it’s definitely in her best interest to start the transition early.

As for LoveGold, they seem like a luxury jewelry stalking site. According to their official website, which doesn’t fully launch until the spring, their intentions are very clear: “We seek out the world’s most beautiful gold jewellery, the designers creating it and the people wearing it.”

Other attendees included Victoria’s 16-year-old sister Madison, who celebrates her 17th birthday sometime this May. Sanaa Lathan was Sanaa Lathan was also a standout for a couple delicious reasons, as well as Andie MacDowell’s hot daughter Rainey Qualley, who looked really sexy.

Red Carpet: Clive Davis & Recording Academy’s 2012 Pre-Grammy Gala

Despite Whitney Houston’s death yesterday afternoon at the Beverly Hilton, the pre-Grammy festivities rolled on—even at the very hotel the late pop superstar was found dead (inside her hotel room bathtub). Aside from the drugged-out lifestyle over the past decade, for someone to go from the armpit of America’s inner city (Newark, NJ) and call it quits inside the Beverly Hilton, that’s not too bad, right?

I gotta admit, there were some big names missing on the red carpet, but that’s completely acceptable considering the circumstances. Here’s a selection of notable attendees at last night’s pre-Grammy gala thrown by Clive Davis & the Recording Academy. The Beverly Hilton was awfully busy last night, with the fourth floor eerily buzzing with a police investigation and the hotel’s main hall in party-mode celebrating not only tonight’s Grammy Awards, but also Whitney Houston’s life & music career.

Contagion is a thriller/horror movie that stars Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, Laurence Fishburne, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law.
