As we mentioned earlier in the afternoon, the famous red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival was rolled out ahead of tonight’s big opening ceremony. Walking on the red carpet were A-list members of the jury which included names like Steven Spielberg, Ang Lee, & Christoph Waltz. Before the opening ceremony festivities went down, all jury members & guests were treated to a screening of ‘The Great Gatsby’, which already had a very successful opening last weekend at the box-office.

Below are a selection of our favorite fashionable ladies on the red carpet. It’s nice to see singer Lana Del Rey, who’s behind the film’s hit single ‘Young & Beautiful’, made a rare red carpet appearance. For those of you who haven’t done so already, make sure you check out the film’s soundtrack, which features tunes by Jay-Z, will.i.am, Kanye & others. It’s definitely one of the better soundtracks in a while.

This will be hard to believe, but the Chinese-born American actress just turned 46 this past October and she doesn’t look a day older than 30! Long live those ageless Asian genes! The always-fashionable actress-turned-online philosopher was spotted hitting up Barneys in Beverly Hills over the weekend lookin’ like a million bucks. On Christmas Eve, Bai Ling was seen arriving at Villa Blanca restaurant, also in Beverly Hills.

Beverly Hills: Ladies Who Attended 30th Anniversary Operation Smile Gala

The 30th Anniversary Operation Smile Gala was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel over the weekend. With a wide-range of attendees our guess is that none of these three ladies know each other or sat next to each other. Brooke Burke and husband David Chavert were honored with the Universal Smiles Award which we’re not sure what it entails but our guess it has to do something with philanthopic work to help heal children born with a cleft. Bai Ling continued her takeover on the island of Oahu while on location shooting for CBS’s Hawaii Five-O with another bunch of shots showing off that smokin’ bikini bod of hers.
