The series stars Sutton Foster as the lead character, with Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor co-starring in other main roles. Nico Tortorella stars as Josh on the show and our guess is that he decided to dye his hair just like Hilary to up his chances in scoring with the single mom. “Younger” is air on TV Land and will premiere Tuesday, March 31st at 10 pm.

Singer, actress and busy mom Hilary Duff obviously still spends a little time on herself before catwalking around L.A. streets in front of the flashing cameras. These latest photos were snapped yesterday afternoon as she was seen heading into a recording studio.
Aside from the music gig, Hilary’s biggest project at the moment is her upcoming new series ‘Younger,’ which is produced, written & directed by Darren Star—the same man behind previous hit series like ‘Melrose Place,’ ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ and ‘Sex and the City.’ Not a bad comeback gamble on Hilary’s part.
The series premieres on March 31.
It’s nice to see Hilary Duff out & about Beverly Hills again. We missed her for a couple months since she was busy filming her upcoming TV series, ‘Younger,’ which is set to premiere on Tuesday, March 31. The series, which is created by famed producer Darren Star, will include 12 episodes. Here’s more about the series:
Liza (Sutton Foster) is a 40-year-old recently divorced mother looking to get a job, which proves difficult for a woman of her age. After a compliment from a much younger man, she decides to get a makeover, courtesy of her friend Maggie (Debi Mazar), in order to look like she is in her mid-twenties. Ultimately, she becomes an assistant to Diana (Miriam Shor) in a publishing firm, who pairs her with co-worker Kelsey (Hilary Duff).

Hilary Duff takes her son Luca to a baby class in West Hollywood. After the class ended, Hilary’s estranged husband Mike Comrie picked up Luca. Hilary recently spoke about her relationship with Mike saying, “We have a two-year-old together. We love each other. Obviously it wasn’t a rash decision that we made. We really are just trying to figure out how we are the most happy whether together or apart and we’re doing it as lovingly as possible.”
It’s without a doubt that getting back in front of the cameras has had a positive effect on Hilary Duff’s hotness level! Hilz ditched her ankle weights (i.e. hubby Mike Comrie) and jetted off to NYC to film an upcoming new comedy series titled ‘Younger’.
The series creator, Darren Star, is best known for creating the other hit series such as ‘Melrose Place,’ ‘Beverly Hills,’ ‘90210’ and ‘Sex and the City.’ Now, that what I call a great investment on Hilary’s part!
Here’s more about the series:
Younger is about a single mom (Foster) who suddenly finds herself back in the workforce but her age is going to prove extremely difficult. However, all of that changes when she runs into (Mazar) who thinks she looks a lot younger. She soon ends up working as an assistant and making friends with a 20-something co-worker (Duff). Source
As we’ve been covering over the past couple weeks, Hilary Duff is currently in NYC filming her upcoming new TV series ‘Younger’ created by bigdog producer, director and writer Darren Star. Again, he’s the same dude behind hit series like ‘90210’, ‘Melrose Place’ and ‘Sex and the City’, so it’ll be very interesting to see how his new series holds up when it premieres early next year.
Curiously, the series tells the story of a single mom (played by Sutton Foster) who suddenly finds herself back in the workforce but her age is proving extremely difficult. This sounds like Hilary’s story…
I don’t know about you guys, but it’s weird to see Hilary Duff out of her L.A. comfort zone, which typically involved her going to Pilates classes, shopping around and making the occasional Starbucks run.
People forget that she’s still fairly young at 27, so it’s nice to see her finally get back to doing the one thing that made her really famous. She can dabble in music & whatever else, but acting is what will ultimately bring home the big paychecks.
Hilz is currently filming the premiere season of the upcoming series ‘Younger’ which is created by big-dog producer of other hit series like ‘Melrose Place’, ‘Beverly Hills’, ‘90210’ and ‘Sex and the City’. Needless to say, that’s quite a winning list, so let’s hope ‘Younger’ earns its place on that list once it premieres next year.
