As for the show, Hillary Clinton presented Oscar de la Renta with his Founder’s Award while Vera Wang received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Winners from the “Oscars of fashion” included Thom Browne for Menswear Designer of the Year, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler for Womenswear Designers of the Year and Philip Lim for Accessories Designer of the Year.
