So we’ve already noted all the info in the Taylor Swift post from KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2012 presented by G by Guess at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. So using the copy and paste keys… in an effort to put parents of the tweens who go to these concerts in more debt for the holidats, KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2012 is a two night event with two different lineups. Catch the second show on Monday night, December 3rd, with a lineup that includes Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Flo Rida, and The Wanted. For more info, visit the KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2012 website.
Shawn Johnson was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Reality TV Star… and lost to Lauren Conrad. That pretty much sounds like a completely bullshit category… just like the entire show. Anyways, looks like she’s parlayed her win on DWTS to a couple guest spots on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

With her gold medal win at the Olympics last year coupled with her win on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” the past 12 months have been pretty much a dream come true for Shawn Johnson. Along with her newfound fame comes an ocean of invites to various industry events, so that’s the only reason we’ve been seeing so much of this odd-shaped chick lately…
Shawn Johnson has parlayed her gold medal to appearing on Dancing With The Stars and with her win on that show she’s not got an offer to star in a kid’s movie. I’m not sure if she wouldn’t be able to get that even without appearing on DWTS.
“I got an offer for a movie,” Johnson, 17, told me yesterday at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival in L.A. “If I take them up on it, it’ll be very exciting.” Source.
Shawn Johnson is one of the three finalist for the eigth season of Dancing With The Stars. Who follows the show? All we know about her dancing ability is her floor routine from the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
So here’s a thought… Shawn Johnson wins a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics and becomes a darling and ends up on DWTS; I’m assuming she’s collecting a nice apperance fee for her work. On the flip side, Alicia Sacramone falls, doesn’t get any gold medals and does a Gatorade G commercial; I doubt she got paid as much. Poor Alicia, well, we’ve not heard anything about gold medal winning Nastia Liukin but I’m sure she’s parlaying her gold medal into some nice paydays too.
Johnson ends gold drought with Olympic win in balance beam
Still, while Johnson put on a positive face, it’s likely that the three silver medals thing was bothering her a little more than she was letting on. She was, after all, defending world champion. Her roommate and gymnastics teammate Nastia Liukin, who edged out Johnson for the all-around gold medal, said plainly: “Three silvers is hard.” And it is hard, especially because gymnastics is a judged sport, and the judging can be vague and wildly inconsistent. Second place in gymnastics can be tough to live with. Source
