The Australians In Film Awards & Benefit Dinner 2012 took place last night at The InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. We don’t have a complete list of winners but we can report that Mr. Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, was amongst the honorees, winning the Breakthrough Award for his work in The Hunger Games. In his acceptance speech, he apparently slipped up saying that him and Miley were already married and so as expected the blogosphere is blowing up this news. Here’s a piece from his speech:

“I was fortunate enough to get called back in to read with my now fiancée, who I recently got engaged to… and we read together and fell in love and now we’re married.”

“We’re not married yet… but we will be.” [Source]

Lost up in the mix of the 2012 SAG Awards, the inaugural 2012 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (replacing the Australian Film Institute Awards) took place this past weekend at Soho House in L.A. Amongst the honorees were Meryl Streep for her performance in The Iron Lady but it was The Artist that cleaned house as it took home the awards for Best Film, Best Director (Michel Hazanaicius), and Best Actor (Jean Dujardin).

More Ladies @ US Weekly’s Annual Hot Hollywood Style Issue Party

Moe already got up a bunch of the ladies who attended this year’s US Weekly’s Annual Hot Hollywood Style Issue Party and since we’ve in the business of flooding the site with photos of all attendees, we figured to give you ten more. To the dismay of some, we didn’t included the likes of Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards, Kathy Griffin, and Carmen Electra. Anyways, rather than giving you ten choices to pick your favorite, we’re going starting five with this poll.

These were snapped at the Century Plaza Hotel in L.A.

Stephanie Jacobsen played the medical student Lauren Yung (shocking, right?) on the The CW’s remake of the 90s hit show “Melrose Place.” Is this show even on TV anymore?! Does anyone care?

Anyway, Steph hits the big 3-O this June & the reason she’s hot is because she’s mixed—Chinese, English, Norwegian, and Portuguese, to be exact.
