Produced by & starring the one & only Brad Pitt, “Killing Them Softly” is the latest film by director Andrew Dominik. The film, which already has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, is based on the 1974 novel “Cogan’s Trade” by George V. Higgins. It will hit theaters starting Friday, so make sure you bastards don’t miss this bad boy! Definitely sounds like a winner.

Besides Brad Pitt, the deep cast also features Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Ray Liotta, and Richard Jenkins. The story revolves around a “professional enforcer Jackie Cogan (Pitt), who investigates a heist that occurs during a high-stakes, mob-protected poker game.” (Wiki)

Directly below is some red carpet footage of Brad Pitt workin’ the crowds at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this spring where the film first premiered. Director Andrew Dominik & Ray Liotta also get interviewed in the same clip.

NYC: Red Carpet Ladies @ “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” Premiere

We posted the pics of Rooney Mara & Daniel Craig from the NYC premiere earlier in the week, so check those photos here. The film, which hits theaters on December 21, is directed by David Fincher and stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara as the mysteriously cracked-out Lisbeth Salander.

Here’s more about the film:

December, 2002: Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist), publisher and part-owner of the left-wing Swedish political magazine Millennium, loses a libel case involving allegations published about billionaire financier Hans-Erik Wennerström (Stefan Sauk). Blomkvist is sentenced to three months in prison, ordered to pay hefty damages, and to pay all court costs. Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) is a surveillance agent employed by Milton Security. Milton had been contracted to investigate Blomkvist. Salander delivers a comprehensive report on Blomkvist to a lawyer, Dirch Frode (Ingvar Hirdwall), on behalf of his only client, 82 year- old, Henrik Vanger (Sven-Bertil Taube). He is the former Vanger Corporation CEO. Blomkvist is invited to meet Vanger, who hires him to investigate the disappearance of his great-niece, Harriet. Harriet vanished on Children’s Day in 1966. Vanger not only believes that Harriet was murdered, but that a member of the Vanger family is responsible. He shows Blomkvist a small collection of framed, pressed flowers that Harriet had given him on his birthday since she was eight years old. In the attic is a collection of the framed flowers he has received at every birthday since her disappearance in 1966. He suspects that the sender could be Harriet’s murderer. [Source]

The L.A. premiere of New Year’s Eve brought out practically all of the cast, including the whole “Lea Michele and Ashton Kutcher” rumors along with Sofia Vergara, Katherine Heigl/Josh Kelley, Fergie/Josh Duhamel, and the rest of the ladies that hit the red carpet. The NYC premiere wasn’t as star-studded as we also intentioanlly left out one of the many stars of the film, Sarah Jessica Parker. Anyways, as you already know the movie revolves around New Year’s Eve in NYC. Check it out in theaters on December 9th. For more info, visit the New Year’s Eve official website.

Good lawd!! It ALMOST makes me wanna take back my baller, panda skin fur coat i bought at Macy’s!

Here’s Taraji on why she’s stopping the grinning and stripping the linen: “I don’t think a living being should suffer for the sake of fashion, period,” Henson proclaims. “End of story.”
