The panel of jurors at the Cannes Film Festival is pretty much always packed with a deep panel of widely respected names, but with Jessica Chastain & Will Smith as the two big ticket names representing Hollywood, this year’s panel definitely has that extra oomph over previous years.
Jessica was all smiles as she appeared sandwiched between Spanish director Pedro Almodovar and Will Smith during a jury photo call held earlier in the day before the opening ceremony later in the evening. We’ve included a few photos of Jessica from the opening ceremony, which also doubled as the premiere for the French drama film “Ismael’s Ghosts” starring Marion Cotillard.

The ‘Suicide Squad‘ promotional machine rolled into London earlier today and held a star-studded premiere at Odeon Leicester Square. In attendance were the film’s A-listers including Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto.
In all the interviews the cast members do, they repeatedly mention the friendships that formed during the production and Margot Robbie added a bit of permanence to the bonds by tattooing a number of her co-stars. Among the cast members she couldn’t convince were Will Smith & Jared Leto. In an interview with ET, Will Smith gave his reasoning behind not getting inked saying, “I’m a grown-a** man,” Smith said with a laugh. “Margot comes bounding into work with all of her 24-year-old glory like, ‘Guys! Guys! I got a tattoo gun! I got a tattoo gun! We’re all getting tattoos!’ I was like, ‘No, we’re not.'” Watch the interview on ET for more on the tattooing.
Anyway, the film is getting somewhat slapped around by critics, but audiences will have the final say later this week when ‘Suicide Squad’ hits the big screen.
Here’s Cara Delevingne showing off her nipple detection skills:
Actors Will Smith and Naomie Harris locked lips on the set of of their upcoming movie ‘Collateral Beauty’ in NYC’s Central Park. The film, which is directed by David Frankel, also stars A-listers like Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet, Edward Norton and Dame Helen Mirren. The story centers around a “tragic event [which] sends a New York ad man on a downward spiral” (IMDb). Hey, when you have to go back home to Jada, can you blame the guy for enjoying these fleeting moments?

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith, who’ve recently been in the news telling everyone that they’re boycotting the Academy Awards for its painful lack of diversity. Out of the 40 nominees in the actor category, there wasn’t a single nominee for a person of color. While obviously very shameful, this shouldn’t come as a total surprise. The fight will continue for years to come and it’s going to take more than passionate boycotts to change Hollywood! I think it’s safe to say that real & lasting change will be rooted what happens at the box-office.
Since Jada released her video plea a number of African-American celebs have come out in support. We should mention that Chris Rock will continue to host the event, so now I think I’ll tune in just to listen to all the jokes! Chris Rock is at his finest when he’s doing race-related jokes!

I read a number of articles about Bennet Omalu, the physician who first discovered the existence of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) after examining the brains of several deceased NFL players and and knew instantly that they’d turn the story into a film! Lo and behold, we have none other than Will Smith playing the role of Dr. Omalu (he even does the Nigerian accent!) in what appears to be a great film set to score a number of Oscar nominations (Will Smith is already getting Best Actor nods).
So yeah, for those of you looking to avoid “Star Wars” this holiday season, make sure you check out either “Concussion,” “The Big Short,” or “Joy”— all three seem like nice way to spend a couple hours.
More about the film, followed by the trailer:
Set in 2005, the movie is a dramatic storytelling depiction of Bennet Omalu’s race against time to publicize CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) in American football players and games and the attempts by the NFL to deny the problem and to disparage the doctor. Source
Margot Robbie is filming “Suicide Squad” in full costume. The cast was filming on Bay street at 4am. The scene had fake rain that was pouring down on the stars and all seemed in good spirits about it. In movie Will Smith is seen as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adam Beach, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, and Karen Fukuhara as Plastique. Will and Margot are re-united for the film after starring in the movie “Focus” together.

If you thought “Avengers” was a big summer blockbuster, just wait until you see the $215 million “Men In Black 3,” which hits theaters in the US on May 25. With all these big films hitting theaters, you gotta be very picky about which one to watch IMAX, 3D or both b/c by the time the summer ends, you can easily spend a couple hundred bucks at the theater (that’s just one person and includes a kid’s meal!).
Here’s more about the latest in the classic series:

I get it–Willow is Will Smith’s fashion-forward, trendsetting daughter who’s not anything like normal girls her age, but at what point do you go to your daughter & tell her that she might be overreaching, spending too much cash on stupid things or possibly even “trying too hard,” assuming the latter is even possible in the Pinkett-Smith household. Today she’s an 11-year-old little girl, but if Will Smith doesn’t do anything, Willow might transform herself into a 25-year-old boy, all in the name of “being different,” “thinking outside the box,” etc., etc..
These latest photos were snapped yesterday afternoon as the “Whip It” singer Willow was showing off her fashionista side while cat-walking around NYC with cropped green hair & freaky, yet probably really expensive, wedge heels. For the record, her single “Whip It” had to be one of the most overrated & annoying songs in recent history. I get that her main audience is little kids, but the fact that she performed that song on “American Idol” (I’m sure daddy had a hand in that) & more annoyingly, it was regularly looped on normal radio stations, makes it open to criticism and moreover, serves as a blatant example of the abuse of money & power (mainly Will Smith’s).

Don’t forget to hit the “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” official website. The documentary chronicling Justin Bieber’s rise to stardom is produced by Usher! That bastard is making so much cash from his baby-cash-cow! DAMN YOU, USHER!!
I don’t know about you bastards, but I absolutely blown away by Jada Pinkett’s timeless hotness! Will Smith’s definitely a lucky bastard, to say the least. All she has to do is simply refrain from buying her kids fucked-up shoes (see earlier post). I know they have a ton of cash to throw around, but still…
