The debate is officially on, but I was shocked how Obama chose to dance around the whole gun policy issue as opposed to telling it like it is. That’s why he can drop all the tears he wants to drop, but we all know his hands are tied when it comes to making lasting change on the legal front. I think it’s safe to say that there needs to be a retroactive assault weapons ban, which means that people who previously purchased those types of guns will need to drop them off at local law enforcement in exchange for some sort of tax credit or outright reimbursement.

As for Adam Lanza & the reasons behind the massacre: Let’s just say it gets weirder & weirder with each bit of information that’s slowly leaking from local law enforcement. Here’s what we know:

All 20 kids were shot multiple times; a couple of them up to 11 times!! WHAT THE FUCK?!

Nancy Lanza was part of the prepper movement, which means she was getting ready for massive turmoil when economy falls apart and total anarchy breaks out. Members of the movement are known for hoarding supplies and training with weapons.

Nancy Lanza divorced in 2009, although legal documents report no mental health issues for Adam over the split. Riiiight.

Adam Lanza suffered from Asperger syndrome

People who knew Adam Lanza are painting a mixed portrait of the killer: Some day he was extremely anti-social & odd, while others say he was an average kid.

As early as less than a week before the attack, Nancy Lanza had told a friend of her fears that she was “losing” her son. “She said it was getting worse. She was having trouble reaching him.” (Telegraph)

Police recovered badly damaged computers from the Lanza residence.

Adam Lanza shot his mom in the face multiple times while she was asleep.

So, what’s everyone’s take on this? What would cause some 20-year-old kid to go ape-shit on a bunch of 6 & 7-year-old kids?! Is it his way of “saving” them from the horrible world?
