I urge you guys to listen to clips of the NYC FD’s communications during the last few minutes before the buildings fell—these poor men were still going up to the 72+ floors to rescue people caught in fires, in stalled elevators, etc. They were still going up and they were still communicating with each other right before the two came down!! Can you believe it? Where was their center communication department? If the communication w/ central command was alive, why were they not told to turn the hell around and run for their lives?!? All this stuff needs to change. You will cringe listening to it. This clip is available here. Transcript available here.
