my heart and soul go out to nick's family and friends. i agree with nick's father's plea for peace. but...terrorists don't follow rules. it wasn't iraq that knocked over the twin towers. it was terrorists. and while the war on iraq and 9/11 are slightly connected, listening to our enemies is not the solution for 9/11. the attack on 9/11 was not because we weren't listening to our enemies. it happened because our enemies hate us. period. and that is why it is called terrorism.
as for the war on iraq...wow. too many aspects and issues for my feeble little mind to even understand, let alone take a solid position on. all i can say, is that i'm thankful for my faith in God because it is the only anchor i have in this crazy world that gets crazier every day.
