High Schoolers in the Draft

Who’s it gonna be Gav? I think signing up for the draft is the best gamble out there if you’re a good basketball player & still in high school. If you don’t make it, you go to a top notch school, only to graduate and get millions of dollars. If you make it, you get millions right off the bat!

Why Fry's is COOL!!!

So Friday afternoon I went to Fry’s because I wanted to buy a new SD card for my camera that was on sale. In addition to that I bought some CD-Rs and a mini bookshelf system. As I’m walking pass the DVDs I notice that there is a porn section! OH BABY!!!!

…so yeah, it’s a pretty comprehensive selection and they even had this one that me and Joe wanted, “Angel X” starring Kaylani Lei. So here I am in the porn section, closely located to the kids section on the phone with Joe telling him the titles of what they got there…while holding my CD-Rs and mini bookshelf system.

In the end, I checkout….SD card, CD-Rs, bookshelf system, and Angel X starring Kaylani Lei. I’d have to say I found everything I needed today…

yes, Fry’s is a cool place!

If You're Fat, You're Fat..don't even make like.

Okay, so I’m probably re-affirming going to hell for this or get beaten up by fat people, black people, and fat black people but I’m pretty damn bored at work right now and I wanted to share a story…

So I went to this Teriyaki joint for lunch on Saturday. As I’m eating there’s this woman ordering and she’s being kinda picky…she all like, “can you make sure that the pieces of chicken i get don’t have much fat on it.” I’m think, ‘oh c’mon, give me a frickin break…don’t be that picky, the chicken is chicken, damnitt…don’t mess with the nice old lady.’ I turn around to see that it’s this big black fat ass lady that’s asking for this.

In addition to asking for the less fat chicken, she wants extra sauce, and after she gets her order she comes back to get a side order of rice and even more sauce on that! Now, I assume that she wanted less fat on the chicken because maybe she’s trying to lose weight….but if your fat ass is going to ask for extra sauce (full of sugar) and more rice (the dreaded complex carbohydrate) w/ more sauce (more sugar), I don’t think your fat ass will get any smaller. I’m sorry but if you’re fat, you’re going to stay fat if you order extra rice and sauce because not like that’ll offset your picky ass asking for less fat chicken.

Vacation time!

I need to use up critical vacation time before I leave this joint. Here’s my tentative plan:
I’m taking a few days before the 4th of July. That will leave me with a full week and some change. Then I was thinking of taking a good 4 days to a week sometime in August.
Jax, I know you’re going to bloody Aruba in Sept for like a full week. Bastard.
Fresh off the wires suggestion: Vegas. August 6-8th. Sounds very tempting.

If any of you other people (all 2 of you) have any suggestions, hooook it up!

South Korea Grieves, Condemns Hostage Killing

That title went across the wires last night. How can you condemn and grieve something that your own country helped to create. Why did they help to create it? It is because they had the power to stop it & they failed to use that power. There is no difference between the ones doing the beheading and the ones standing around not stopping it. They are equally guilty for murder and here’s why.

I read somewhere that there were 5 men standing in the back watching the beheading of this poor Korean man. Those men will surely go to hell, but a lot of people didn’t see the 6th party. The 6th party is the Korean government. They were given and ultimatum and they failed to act on it. They failed to make the choice between the death of this innocent man or further contribute to the flames burning in the Middle East. There is simply no value for life, I swear.

It makes me sad how nations can take advantage of their people through these events that they, themselves, help to create. How will they use the beheading incident? Very simple. Revenge. We must take revenge will be on the lips of most Korean politician. I guess revenge also helps to justify sending 3000 kids to war.

Bachelor Clinton's Money Book!

From the WSJ:
“Elsewhere, Danny Gainsburg, a partner in Politics and Prose in Washington, said the bookstore had sold close to 2,000 copies of “My Life” by 4:30 p.m. “This is the best first day we’ve had with a book,” said Mr. Gainsburg. On the West Coast, the Bookshop Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, Calif., said it sold 45 copies of the memoir in the first 3½ hours of the selling day. “It’s not Harry Potter, but it’s flying off the shelves,” said Ryan Coonerty, a vice president.”

2000? Definitely impressive. I used to work at Barnes & Noble, so I’ve seen fat people throw a fit because you don’t have their popular, new release. When they want a book, they want it right then and there! It’s like food to them. They want you to call every other B&N in a 500 mile radius to find it! No ifs and buts! haha. It was funny sometimes, I swear. Once I was actually able to find a copy of a book that was supposedly sold out—the customer ended up tipping me $5 bucks. I told her, “Ma’am, I can’t take tips.” She insisted that I do, so since I was only in the 10th grade & Taco Bell was just across the street, so naturally, I pocketed the money before she had a chance to change her mind. I’m Indian, ok. I am taught to pick up pennies off the street, for God’s sake.

Fuckin' Atkins

So I was strolling along the internet today, when lo and behold I came across this news snipet from Yahoo news.

It seems as though farmers as well as scientist think they can grow a POTATO with less carbs in it. Isn’t that absolutely ridiculous? Are we going to make everything with less carbs now? I don’t think that is going to slove the problem america has of people eating themselves to death. There are countries in this world where people die from not having enough food. It makes me sick. I feel like our country is so gluttonous
(hope thats how you spell it). We want everything in excess. I’m not trying to say that I have never been a glutton. I admit at times I am. But at least I make the concious effort everyday not to be. I just wanted to share.

Ooh…Iraqi Brothels!

Sex is truly a universal language. Arabic is far from being sexy or universal (very similar to the Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean , Vietnamese [again] and all those eastern languages EXCEPT Urdu-a.k.a. the language of loooouve). No surprises there. Anyway, here’s an interesting article summarizing why the coalition is so confused in their occupation efforts.

Books…

Anyone recommend any good books that I could read. No Harry Potter and not something that’s on the level of difficutly like that DaVinci Code book that I’ve heard is a tough one….I’ve not read a book in years.
