OK...I absolutely love fried chicken...but watching these po dunk fucks "working" at the factory pissed me off. There is absolutely no reason for them to abuse these chickens this way. I realize that these chickens never had a chance to begin with, but killing them in this manner is a disgrace, waste of time, & a waste of the sorry fuck's money who pays them. You can kill a chicken in a matter of seconds. Either cut their head off and let them flop around for a minute or sling them by the neck in a circular motion. These methods are a lot quicker and does not cause any unneccessary suffering to the animal.I hate watching stupid rednecks.

as for the peta philly thing i havnt caught wind of that because im in england so couldnt even comment on that other then to say that there are decent people with in every organisation trying to do good and there will always be arseholes tagging on as well using just causes as an excuse to carry out violence, ie the G8 protest in edinborough.

who gives a shit what people eat. Their fight is very similar to the government's war against terrorism or drugs. I'll even throw in the fight against abortion into the mix. Their fight will never end & you might as well build a fucking fire to toss your money into.

w/ all the money PETA pulls in, they can probably feed African villages for a full year or throw crazy parties w/ plenty of drugs & alcohol. There is no need for all the bullshit hostility.

They do a lot worse to many animals. If you pay $16 for a membership to peta, 90% of that goes to investigations, etc.

I don't agree with some of their methods (throwing fake blood on fur, being a TOTAL vegan). I believe that we as a race of humans need to eat animal protein, and can wear some animal products, but there is a HUMANE way to treat animals. I only eat free-range certified humane chicken/eggs that are not injected with growth hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. We don't need that in our bodies.

It is so sad to know that this happens...and is causing psycholoical abuse to animals that are very intelligent (probably more intelligent than some of the little idiots that polute this website :)

Popeyes is the my favorite fried chicken of all time...I like fried chicken.

to comment on your brief reference to assley, I saw some more funny photos from her album release partaay in NYC that I was itching to post, but I didn't have any good jokes to go along with them. I'm saving them for later. Let me just say, this girl has it good. I have some friends in SF who're dying to finsih their second album song by song. Last I heard they'd finished recording, but it's been almos ta year & still their bloody album isn't out. Money makes the world go round & round.

I'm not saying that ashley is a horrible singer (or that she has any talent), I'm just saying that she has it damn easy :-).

After arguing w/ someone about this KFC bullshit, i learned that KFC's chicken PROVIDER is responsible for the Chicken Abuse, BUT that still does not change my mind about eating there. Plus, one time I ate there in college and I got a fucking feather in my box! A WHITE FEATHER, I tell you! It was sick. The feather must have been gashed into one of the chicken's breasts when the chicken were being beamed against the wall ((just my luck, I know).

faisal i knew you were a little dissappointed at the disproportionate amount of comments on ashlee simpson (and justly so) so i thought i'd be a sport and try to be a little more well-rounded and comment on the horrific peta videos i watched via 'yalls journal here.

first of all im never eating KFC again. ever. fuck i wonder what they do with the mcdonald's chickens (shudder). but surprisingly one of the most painful videos i thought were the mexicanas (? i i think) ripping out fistfuls of down from live geese. maybe i'm biased, i grew up with a pet duck.

you have to give the acknowledging nod to the peta site. for all the crazy hippie fucks that give them a bad name, they're not bad. they have the whole sex sells thing down; so in a way, they're still in the meat business.
