Second from the left looks like a girl I went to high school with, so my first guess for an answer would have been that they must have done too many drugs before turning 18.
Oooops, somebody forgot to use Photoshop...
howard stern rules!
It's a quick way to loose weight!
God bless these girls, they've obviously had a harder way to go than most of us. I think it's neat that they can get together and feel good about themselves. They are trying to enjoy life, not whore themselves out or get rich. You go ladies! They are all beautiful to Gil.
Gil out.
This particular post grieves me. Their stinky, prosthetic add-ons are far more appealing than the remarks made by Moelicious. I'd like to see Moe in a bikini undergoing such scrutiny. All of these girls look fine in a bikini. Modelesque bikini photos that we are familiar with have been touched up. Those models have a team of experts to help them look unlike themselves. Your ideal of perfection and acceptable is just not human, it's cartoonish. It adds to an enormous amount of pressure females have. No one should base their wardrobe or life on fear of the "male gaze" or anyone's judgment. How incredibly presumptuous. You buy into all of the Hollywood propaganda so easily. Do you live in California? Think for yourself instead of being such a mindless pawn of the media. I'd be surprised if you've ever had a girlfriend.
Satire, sarcasm, or rhetoric does not justify hate. This post is the mockery. Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Whether you are aware or not, you have helped condemn several females to self-hatred.
To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with these "chicks". What's wrong with you?
The winner is very,very beautiful
Ah... i didn't get the amputee-thing. But wasn't it a little mean to circle her belly, i mean, it's not like she's fat or anything.
Oh, I didn't mean to be mean, I was trying to be... satirical.
So, on one hand, I was trying to sound like I was saying that when women with "imperfect" bodies (imperfection being circled area etc) allow themselves to be photographed and seem comfortable with it, there is "obviously" something worse (worse being amputations) that's wrong with them that we can't see straight off.
That can be extended to say that when people are comfortable with their apparent flaws, they must have much worse and less apparent flaws.
Meanwhile, I was trying to imply that any female over 12 who is comfortable in a bikini and is not model-y or an athlete must have grown up on a remote continent or have so much self-esteem as to be idiot-savant emotionally or (refreshingly) never internalised the male gaze blah blah blah.
Okay, so satire, and rhetoric for that matter, is very new to me. I'll keep practising.
I could add that the whole idea of an Amputee Beauty Pageant could be said to be about acceptance or support or awareness, but it still seems to me a bit of a mockery and makes me a little ill-- then again, I have, and hopefully will always have Please God, the luxury of two arms and legs.
Ouch! Dude!! That comment tallies up a couple bad karma points for you, man. Repent to the karma gods!
They are, incredibly, happy. That's what's wrong.
Then again, I suppose that was a rhetorical question.
