The peeps @ cityrag pluggin’ the list from this site. The top 10 below comes from a list of 100 albums from the last 20 years.
1. Radiohead - OK Computer — They have a worldwide following, so this is understandable.
2. Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back
3. Nirvana - Nevermind —-Yeeeah babay!! #1 In my book!
4. Pavement - Slanted And Enchanted
5. The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
6. Pixies - Surfer Rosa
7. De La Soul - 3 Feet High And Rising
8. Prince - Sign O’ The Times —- I can’t believe he got Carmen! Just for that, he should be top 5.
9. PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me
10. NWA - Straight Outta Compton —- That’s right, bitches!
My “What Happened To…?” list follows:
1. At least one Snoop Dogg or Dre album should be up there. Doggystyle or Chronic were classics!! It taught a generation how to use bad words & catapulted bitch & hoes into our bastardly vernacular.
2. Michael Jackson - Was he too controversial for the list or what? The guy ruled the world @ one point!!!
3. Rage Against the Machine - Their short stint was amazing. Evil Empire & Battle for Los Angeles were solid.
Ok, I know none of you will agree w/ my twisted tastes, but whatever.
Valid point Judiciously. They should definately be on the list as well.
My age is showing, but where is U2, REM, or Dave Matthews?
I too love Tori. She is a fantastic artist!
Tori Amos will always be on my top 10 list. She is amazing and underappreciated. She has influenced me as a songwriter a great deal - and been a sort of therapy during tough times.
Was the Beastie Boys on the list at all? I would agree that they would be in the top 10 (they would be on mine) but I think they should at least be in the top 100.
Oh and The Smiths ROCK!!!
OH MY GOD im so glad people know who tori amos is! Most people i know IRL dont.

Damned If I Know
Okay the chronic and doggystyle are classics and should have been included, also Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready To Die is classic, even the westcoast sound lovers have to admit that. As for MJ, there were 3 things in everyone's home in the 1980's 1)a flower printed couch 2) the MJ thriller album and 3) a picture of the Last Supper so MJ should be there!! What about Pearl Jam's Ten?? Anyone??
As for Michael... dude, he did Thriller! that alone puts him on the list!
and agreed....Rage frickin rocks!!!
Tori is awesome too.
I like Tori Amos too, but I don't think she needs to be on THIS list.
And i think Tori Amos should be on that list! Hey, i know she isnt the greatest...but shes just so great on piano! (does anyone even know who she is? i love her).
Same here, i like Rage...but im not too fond of the others ones he posted.
I agree Moe, Rage Against The Machine should definitely be on the list! Every time I play Rage I get so fuckin pumped up, you can hear the passion in the music. A band with not only musical talent but a powerful message, not like that fluff shit I hear one the radio now (with the exception of System of a Down). They are one of the greatest bands on all time.
Kind of off subject, but I was watching Starsky and Hutch (the movie) last night, and decided that if Snoop Doggs character Huggy Bear was white, he would look just like Kevin Federline. Am I crazy?
