As I understand it, the list is based on a poll. But some of us find these rankings mysterious, and I can only suspect that those are the result of some tampering by powerful publicity agents or inside favoritism. If someone like, say, Teri Hatcher didn't have a hit TV series at this time, she wouldn't even be on the radar screen.

In response to the comments made regarding Lindsay Lohan, she was hot to me for all of a couple of weeks, her peak hitting about the time she was 18 and posing for that GQ spread. That's about the hottest she ever was and ever will be. And Sarah Michelle Gellar??? Nope. She was cute at best when Buffy first aired, then went downhill from there. And just by her personality alone she shouldn't even be in the top 1,000,000. I oughtta know, I was on the set of many Buffy episodes and she's a first class primadonna diva bitch! Actually, the same goes with Lindsay, one of the worst people to work with on a film set. Absolute nightmare. And Paris Hilton looks like an alien.

I do agree about Fergie. If it were years ago when she was with Wild Orchid, she would have easily made the top 5. But all the drug problems from her past have unfortunately caught up with her.
